- • The Director, Contract Strategy at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals leads the development and execution of contracting strategies for the Ophthalmology portfolio, focusing on payer, GPO, and IDN accounts to maximize net revenue and product access through data-driven, innovative agreements including traditional rebates and value-based models.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include driving contract strategy development with cross-functional stakeholders, performing customer and pre-deal analyses, managing financial modeling and bid scenarios, supporting negotiations, coaching Account Managers, and ensuring pricing decisions align with business objectives and compliance requirements.
- • The Contract Strategy team partners closely with Legal, Brand, Account Management, and Operations to manage the full contract lifecycle, from strategy and redline to execution, while fostering relationships with external customers and internal partners to drive alignment and successful deal closure.
- • In this role, the individual will deepen expertise in U.S. healthcare market dynamics, advanced financial and analytical modeling, negotiation leadership, and strategic contracting — gaining influence over pricing decisions and contracting innovation that directly impact patient access and commercial success.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Science, Pharmacy, Accounting, or Finance; Master’s degree preferred
- • 12+ years of experience in U.S. pharma, biotech, or healthcare industry with background in sales, marketing, financial analysis, contracting, and/or pricing
- • Proven experience in account management, negotiation, provider contracting, buy and bill, and developing impact models and what-if scenarios for business unit strategy
