  • • As the Director, Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) at Rightway Healthcare, you will be a pivotal strategic leader responsible for shaping and executing the company's client financial operations and risk management functions. This role is instrumental in driving robust financial performance, meticulously managing an extensive portfolio of client financial guarantees, and significantly scaling our technical capabilities through the innovative Financial Risk Engine (FiRE). You will lead and inspire two high-impact, specialized teams – Client COGS and Pricing Operations – fostering a culture of operational excellence, technical innovation, and strategic foresight. Your partnership with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders will be crucial in defining client financial strategy across the entire organization, ensuring alignment with Rightway's mission to harmonize healthcare.
  • • You will take ownership of Rightway's overarching client risk strategy. This involves the comprehensive oversight of the annual risk management portfolio, a critical process that quantifies performance across all client financial guarantees. Your analytical rigor will ensure that financial commitments are understood, managed, and optimized.
  • • Leading and mentoring the Client COGS and Pricing Operations teams is a core responsibility. You will be tasked with building and nurturing a high-performing team environment characterized by operational excellence, a commitment to technical innovation, and a deeply ingrained strategic mindset. This includes developing talent, setting clear objectives, and fostering collaboration.
  • • A key aspect of this role is partnering closely with executive leadership and a diverse range of cross-functional stakeholders. Your objective will be to drive financial performance, optimize the management of client finances, and influence key strategic organizational decisions through insightful financial analysis and recommendations.
  • • You will directly oversee the intricate management of client financial guarantees. This encompasses managing quarterly settlement payments, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and actively contributing to the development of client financial strategies that align with both client needs and Rightway's business objectives.
  • • A significant and exciting part of your role will be to spearhead the development and implementation of the Financial Risk Engine (FiRE). This transformative technical platform is designed to revolutionize risk management at the client level, enabling greater scalability, providing deeper insights, and identifying new strategic opportunities for growth and efficiency.
  • • You will be responsible for overseeing strategic financial scenario modeling and planning initiatives. This includes managing MAC (Medical Loss Ratio) adjustments and developing pricing change strategies. You will collaborate with analysts to meticulously assess the influence of these strategies on broader client guarantee performance and the organization's overall risk tolerance.
  • • Driving operational efficiency and automation is paramount. You will oversee database maintenance, establish robust governance frameworks, and champion the implementation of technical solutions that enhance scalability, improve data integrity, and significantly reduce manual processes, freeing up valuable resources for strategic work.
  • • Ensuring compliance and accuracy across all financial operations is non-negotiable. This includes managing ad hoc and regulatory reporting requirements, maintaining the highest standards of data quality, and promoting transparency in all financial activities.
  • • You will be instrumental in setting strategic priorities and key performance indicators (KPIs) for both the Client COGS and Pricing Operations teams. Your focus will be on aligning day-to-day operations with broader organizational goals, ensuring the seamless execution of critical financial and technical initiatives, and ultimately contributing to Rightway's success in harmonizing healthcare.
