- • Develop and meticulously implement strategic plans for the Data & AI department, ensuring complete alignment with the overarching goals and strategic vision of Cohere Health.
- • Assume ultimate ownership and accountability for key quality and delivery metrics of all Data & AI solutions, including critical indicators such as time-to-value, model accuracy, and overall solution efficacy.
- • Collaborate seamlessly with Cohere Health’s US-based Data & AI team to guarantee a consistent technical strategy, aligned roadmaps, and the adoption of value-centric delivery approaches across all projects.
- • Engage actively with cross-functional product, clinical, and engineering partners to deeply understand their unique needs, proactively recommend optimal solution approaches, and collaboratively develop robust execution strategies.
- • Oversee the entire lifecycle of analytic and AI solution development, from initial design and rigorous development through to successful deployment and ongoing optimization.
- • Proactively identify and champion opportunities for technological advancements, the adoption of applicable technical patterns, and the cultivation of a culture of continuous innovation within the data and AI space.
- • Direct and manage an innovation pipeline, guiding promising ideas from initial experimentation and proof-of-concept through to full-scale development and eventual maturation into production-ready solutions.
- • Provide essential technical guidance, manage project timelines with precision, and ensure the highest standards of quality, scalability, and reliability for all deliverables.
- • Champion and embed a data-driven decision-making culture throughout the organization, while simultaneously prioritizing and promoting the principles of responsible AI development and deployment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of management experience in hiring, developing, and leading data-centric development teams.
- • 12+ years of hands-on experience in data science and machine learning, with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions.
- • Advanced degree (MS or Ph.D.) in a highly quantitative field such as Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Machine Learning.
- • Demonstrated success in growing and managing geographically distributed teams, fostering effective multi-functional collaborations, and navigating complex organizational structures.
- • Proven ability to translate complex business problems into end-to-end data analytics products that deliver quantifiable business impact and strategic value.
- • Experience in maturing machine learning prototypes into scalable, production-ready software solutions, demonstrating a strong understanding of MLOps and deployment best practices.
- • Familiarity with US managed care design and operations, providing context for healthcare data and business challenges.
