- • As Director, Digital/Technical Product Management - Transformation & Ventures at USAA, you will lead the strategy and execution of digital and technology product initiatives to validate future insurance distribution capabilities and strengthen USAA’s position as the #1 choice for the military community.
- • You will attract, select, and develop a high-performing Digital or Technology Product Management team; manage day-to-day activities; set product strategy; oversee roadmaps; and drive data-driven decision-making across digital channels and partner platforms.
- • You will collaborate with senior leaders, developers, designers, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful product launches, manage risk, and drive innovation in emerging technologies such as AI and embedded distribution.
- • You will guide teams in adopting best-in-class practices for data collection, member feedback analysis, and insight generation; foster agile and lean methodologies; and develop leadership skills while driving clarity and execution in ambiguous, dynamic environments.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree, plus 8 years of Digital/Technology Product Management experience (or advanced degree and 6 years) in Strategy/Planning, Innovation, UX, Process Engineering, Analytics, or Research/Testing.
- • 3 years of direct team leadership or leading matrixed/cross-functional teams.
- • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, communicate effectively, and influence leadership and cross-functional teams to develop and execute product strategy.
- • Solid business acumen with strong technical and customer experience foundations, including knowledge of digital/technology products, emerging platforms, data analysis, and Agile/Lean environments.
- • Experience defining product vision, strategy, and roadmap; leading and mentoring product managers; proficiency in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban); and strong analytical skills to leverage data for investment decisions.
- • Understanding of AI concepts and applications in product development and business process automation, plus experience with distribution technologies and embedded distribution capabilities.
