- • The Director of Ecommerce Engineering is a technology leader responsible for delivering secure, scalable, reliable, and high-performing digital commerce solutions that enable exceptional customer experiences and support Hanna Andersson's long-term growth.
- • Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, this role leads the ecommerce engineering organization through people leadership, technical stewardship, operational excellence, and cross-functional partnership.
- • The Director is accountable for building high-performing engineering teams, delivering strategic initiatives, modernizing the commerce platform, and ensuring technology investments align with business objectives.
- • The Director will lead the evolution of Hanna's commerce ecosystem - including Salesforce Commerce Cloud, headless commerce, payment platforms, customer data capabilities and CRM, AI-enabled engineering practices, OMS, product information management, POS, and future omnichannel initiatives - while driving continuous improvement in engineering quality, delivery, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- • This is a full-time, exempt position. The role may be remote or hybrid based on business needs and requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- • The Director is expected to support critical production events, peak business periods, and high-priority initiatives while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of experience in ecommerce engineering, preferably in a leadership role.
- • Strong technical expertise in ecommerce platforms, including Salesforce Commerce Cloud, headless commerce, and payment platforms.
- • Proven track record of delivering strategic initiatives, modernizing commerce platforms, and ensuring technology investments align with business objectives.
- • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build and lead high-performing engineering teams.
