- • The Director, Field Force Execution and Strategy role at Viatris Inc. is critical to driving commercial success by aligning field operations with strategic business goals, ensuring sales teams are equipped to deliver high-impact results in the pharmaceutical market.
- • Day to day, the role involves building and maintaining cross-functional relationships with internal departments such as Sales Leadership and shared services, analyzing sales data to inform targeting and business planning, supporting the development of sales strategies and action plans for key products, conducting field ride-alongs to understand rep challenges, and preparing sales presentations, scorecards, and executive materials to enhance team effectiveness.
- • Viatris is a global healthcare company dedicated to expanding access to high-quality medicines, serving approximately 1 billion patients annually by integrating generics and brand portfolios to address healthcare needs across the lifespan, from acute to chronic conditions.
- • In this role, the individual will develop expertise in branded pharmaceutical sales, strengthen strategic planning and data-driven decision-making skills, gain influence across commercial operations, and contribute directly to sales growth and market execution for key product launches and ongoing portfolio performance.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 10+ years of relevant experience
- • Strong working knowledge of pharmaceutical brands, sales, products, and industry dynamics, including launch experience
- • Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to interpret complex business documents, create reports, and present to groups
- • Ability to perform mathematical computations including percentages, ratios, and rates, and solve complex problems with independent judgment
- • Willingness to travel up to 25% periodically and ability to perform light physical tasks such as walking, standing, and bending
