Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own and drive the P&L for one or more of Kyndryl’s largest Financial Services accounts, translating strategic vision into measurable revenue growth, margin expansion, and risk mitigation across multi-year engagements valued in the hundreds of millions.
- • Serve as the single-threaded executive leader for C-suite stakeholders at top-tier banks, insurers, and capital-markets firms, orchestrating board-level conversations that shape enterprise-wide transformation agendas spanning cloud, data, cyber-resilience, and core-system modernization.
- • Develop and refresh a three-year strategic account plan that maps customer business imperatives to Kyndryl’s full portfolio—managed infrastructure, applications, security, edge, and emerging AI services—while embedding joint-innovation roadmaps that create new revenue streams and lock-in competitive advantage.
- • Lead cross-functional pursuit teams (solution architects, delivery, finance, legal, risk, and partner alliances) to qualify, shape, and close complex deals; own the end-to-end sales cycle from opportunity identification through negotiation, contract signature, and seamless transition to delivery governance.
- • Build and maintain a rolling 18-month pipeline that exceeds quota by 3×, leveraging ecosystem partners (AWS, Azure, GCP, Red Hat, ServiceNow, etc.) to co-sell differentiated offerings and accelerate time-to-value for the customer.
- • Minimize churn and price erosion on renewals by instituting value-realization programs, executive business reviews, and early-warning health scores that surface risk 120 days before renewal and trigger proactive remediation plays.
- • Drive continuous account expansion by identifying whitespace within existing contracts, upselling adjacent capabilities, and converting project-based work into strategic managed-services relationships with annuity-like revenue profiles.
- • Champion customer success and satisfaction, embedding governance frameworks that track NPS, SLA performance, and business-outcome KPIs, ensuring Kyndryl is perceived as an indispensable innovation partner rather than a commodity vendor.
- • Mentor and coach a virtual account team of sellers, architects, and delivery leaders, fostering a culture of curiosity, inclusion, and growth mindset that attracts top talent and reduces attrition on strategic accounts.
- • Ensure full compliance with regulatory, contractual, and internal risk policies governing financial-services clients, including SOX, PCI-DSS, NYDFS, and FedLine requirements, while maintaining impeccable ethical standards and audit readiness.
- • Translate external market intelligence—emerging fintech disruptors, regulatory shifts, ESG mandates—into actionable insights that keep customers ahead of the curve and position Kyndryl as a thought leader at industry forums, roundtables, and analyst briefings.
- • Collaborate with Kyndryl’s Inclusion Networks to advance diversity initiatives within the account ecosystem, ensuring supplier-diversity goals and equitable workforce practices are embedded in every subcontracting and staffing decision.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years owning and managing a $100M+ account P&L within financial services, evidenced by consistent YoY revenue growth and margin improvement.
- • 7+ years of end-to-end enterprise sales experience, including prospecting, solution design, proposal development, negotiation, and closing complex multi-tower deals.
- • Deep fluency in financial-services business drivers, regulatory landscape, and technology trends—core banking, payments modernization, open banking APIs, cloud adoption, data & analytics, cyber-resilience, and AI/ML.
- • Demonstrated ability to build trusted C-suite relationships, influence board-level decisions, and navigate matrixed stakeholder environments spanning business, technology, risk, compliance, and procurement.
- • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive base salary of $159,240–$343,920 (location-adjusted) plus uncapped performance-based annual bonus and long-term incentive plan.
- • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage starting day one, with zero-premium options and HSA contributions.
- • 401(k) with 6% dollar-for-dollar company match and additional discretionary profit-sharing, plus access to financial-planning advisors and pension-style retirement benefits.
- • Flexible hybrid work model, generous PTO (20+ days), paid volunteer days, sabbaticals, and 16-week gender-neutral parental leave with full pay and phased return-to-work support.
