📋 Description

• The Director, Founder's Office will lead and build the operational infrastructure for A1, a proactive AI smart assistant designed to integrate intelligence into everyday workflows, conversations, and task completion with minimal prompting.
• Day to day, the role involves leading business operations across multiple countries, managing and developing a team of Business Operations Partners, overseeing office setup and entity incorporation, implementing payroll and local operations, managing external vendors, supporting recruiting operations and hiring activities, planning company events and offsites, tracking key initiatives, and improving processes for speed and reliability.
• The team operates within Bjak Sdn. Bhd., a company building A1 with a mission to bring intelligence to everyday users through reliable, long-running AI workflows that interact with external tools and maintain persistent context despite model non-determinism.
• In this role, the person will gain end-to-end ownership of global operational scaling, develop leadership in cross-functional coordination, deepen expertise in international entity setup and compliance, and drive execution in high-ownership, high-talent-density environments where independent problem-solving and rapid decision-making are valued.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in business operations, strategic operations, founder's office, or similar roles
• Experience managing projects involving multiple stakeholders
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on commitments
• Comfortable working across recruiting, finance, legal, and administrative functions
• Able to identify problems, make decisions, and drive execution independently
• High ownership and willingness to take responsibility for outcomes
