📋 Description
- • Direct global privacy compliance strategy for Concentrix operations, with primary focus on EU and UK jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to GDPR, e-privacy Directive, and relevant national data protection laws.
- • Define, review, and maintain the global privacy operations framework including policies, processes, transfer risk assessments, registers of third-country data access, and escalation matrices for data processing agreements.
- • Support the Concentrix Global Privacy Officer in developing and deploying the Group’s privacy compliance roadmap and governance structure.
- • Serve as senior privacy advisor for escalated operational issues including complex data processing agreements, regulatory complaints, litigation, and data protection authority inquiries.
- • Lead and supervise a dedicated team of four privacy officers to execute EMEA privacy operations effectively and consistently.
- • Oversee and coordinate all data subject request handling across EMEA, ensuring timely, lawful, and documented responses in compliance with regulatory timelines.
- • Negotiate and review Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) in close collaboration with legal, procurement, and commercial teams.
- • Manage and coordinate responses to personal data breaches, including investigation, reporting, and remediation in alignment with regulatory requirements.
- • Prepare for, support, and follow up on internal and external privacy audits, ensuring timely implementation of audit findings and corrective action plans.
- • Provide day-to-day privacy guidance to internal business functions on issues including data retention, product implementation, transfer impact assessments, and cross-border data transfers.
- • Support RFI/RFP processes with accurate, compliant privacy responses to client and partner inquiries.
- • Implement and monitor mechanisms for international data transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses and other lawful transfer mechanisms.
- • Work closely with legal, compliance, and business units to embed privacy-by-design principles into operational workflows.
- • Deliver clear, persuasive communication and presentations to diverse stakeholders across international teams and regulatory bodies.
- • Maintain autonomy and composure in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment with competing deadlines and evolving regulatory landscapes.
- • Occasional travel (approximately 2 days every 2–3 months) may be required for meetings, audits, or stakeholder engagements.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven minimum of 6 years of experience in privacy/data protection within the EU or UK
- • Very good knowledge of GDPR, e-privacy Directive, and at least one EU Member State’s privacy legislation
- • English language proficiency at B2 level or above (mandatory)
- • Certification in privacy/data protection and/or completed business law studies with relevant experience
- • Experience managing a team of privacy professionals
- • Demonstrated ability to negotiate Data Processing Agreements and manage cross-border data transfers
