- • Lead the Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) strategy for a Cardiovascular product within Novartis, ensuring alignment between Medical Executive Directors, commercial teams, and Value and Access functions to drive strategic priorities and tactical execution.
- • Represent the HEOR team within Medical Strategy Teams to develop and communicate medical and HEOR strategies that demonstrate product value to payers, clinical decision-makers, and patients.
- • Proactively generate and disseminate evidence to optimize patient access and market value of Novartis products in the U.S. healthcare landscape.
- • Execute tactical HEOR initiatives as an individual contributor while managing multiple HEOR projects, budgets, and internal/external partners with scientific rigor and stakeholder alignment.
- • Build and maintain robust external partnerships with institutions, payers, value assessors, regulatory agencies, and academic organizations to support evidence generation and market access goals.
- • Communicate complex HEOR research findings effectively to diverse audiences including internal stakeholders, payers, and scientific communities.
- • Publish and present high-impact research at national and international scientific conferences and peer-reviewed forums.
- • Serve as a key business partner across cross-functional teams, shaping research collaborations and translating HEOR insights into actionable strategies for SOCs and payers.
- • Leverage AI tools to streamline content generation, data analysis, and decision-making, demonstrating practical fluency in prompting, interpreting, and refining AI outputs to enhance efficiency and work quality.
- • Ensure all HEOR activities comply with regulatory standards and align with evolving U.S. payer dynamics, health technology assessment (HTA) requirements, and competitive market conditions.
- • Drive innovation in Real-World Evidence (RWE) study design, modeling methodologies, and data source utilization to support both inline and pipeline product strategies.
- • Influence go-to-market strategies through evidence-based insights, integrating pricing strategy, market access strategy, and pharmacoeconomic analyses into commercial planning.
- • Manage the full lifecycle of HEOR projects from design and execution to dissemination, ensuring alignment with product launch timelines and regulatory expectations.
- • Provide medical leadership by proposing novel, high-impact HEOR initiatives and fostering collaboration across functions including Regulatory Affairs, Finance, and Commercial Operations.
- • Maintain deep expertise in U.S. healthcare financing, delivery systems, and payer environment trends to guide evidence generation and market access positioning.
- • Contribute to organizational excellence by mentoring internal teams and promoting best practices in HEOR, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
