- • The Project Manager will lead and manage the deployment of complex public safety solutions, including Computer-Aided Dispatch, Mobile Computing, Records Management, and Jail Management Systems, for customers across the Central US region, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet mission-critical public safety needs.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include leading cross-functional project teams, establishing and maintaining project budgets and schedules, driving strategic internal and external relationships, resolving intergroup issues, conducting risk assessments and mitigation planning, maintaining quality and communication plans, approving invoices, preparing system integration quotations and statements of work, and producing and presenting project status reports.
- • The role sits within the Central Software Deployment and Integration team at Motorola Solutions, a global organization dedicated to building technologies that protect people, property, and places, with a focus on enabling safer communities, schools, hospitals, businesses, and nations through public safety solutions.
- • The Project Manager will develop leadership and strategic project management skills, gain deep expertise in public safety technology deployments, influence process improvements through collaboration with the Project Management Office, and contribute directly to mission-critical outcomes that enhance community safety and operational effectiveness.
🎯 Requirements
- • High School Diploma, Technical Certification, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree, with experience in Project Management, Program Management, Business Operations, Communications, Finance, IT, Solutions, or Technology
- • 5+ years of Project Management or Program Management experience
- • Ability to obtain a background clearance as required by government customers under CJIS Security Policy
- • Must reside in the Chicagoland area
- • PMP Certification preferred
- • Public Safety experience preferred
