- • Own the end-to-end delivery of Stepful’s surgical services programs, with potential to expand into additional healthcare training programs.
- • Develop and execute innovative initiatives and experiments to accelerate student enrollment, improve retention rates, and scale program impact to support 10x growth in active students.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Curriculum, Product, Policy, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards while delivering exceptional student experiences.
- • Lead and manage a team of Program Directors, instructors, and coordinators responsible for program execution and student support.
- • Serve as a subject-matter expert on surgical services training, leveraging data to drive decisions and optimize program outcomes.
- • Work closely with healthcare provider clients such as CVS, NY-Presbyterian, HCA, Providence, and Walgreens to align training outcomes with workforce needs.
- • Design and implement operational workflows that enhance efficiency, scalability, and quality across all program components.
- • Analyze student performance, completion rates, and employer feedback to identify improvement opportunities and measure program success.
- • Maintain high standards of execution while operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with evolving regulatory and market demands.
- • Communicate clearly and concisely through written reports, presentations, and stakeholder updates to align cross-functional teams and leadership.
- • Lead through influence across departments without direct authority, coordinating diverse stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
- • Continuously test, learn, and iterate based on data to refine program structure, delivery methods, and student support systems.
- • Demonstrate ownership by taking initiative to solve problems, remove bottlenecks, and ensure program success regardless of scope or challenge.
- • Support the company’s mission of expanding access to high-demand healthcare careers for learners from all backgrounds.
- • Participate in the full interview process for new hires on the program team, ensuring alignment with Stepful’s values and operational standards.
- • Contribute to the development of remote educational delivery models, including virtual simulations and online instruction frameworks.
- • Maintain awareness of industry trends in healthcare staffing, allied health education, and EdTech innovation to inform strategic decisions.
- • Ensure all program operations adhere to legal, ethical, and compliance requirements specific to healthcare training and certification pathways.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of experience, including in an operational role at a high-growth startup
- • Proven experience leading teams of clinicians, program directors, or instructors
- • Demonstrated expertise in remote educational delivery (online teaching, virtual simulations, virtual reality, etc.)
- • Strong analytical skills with a structured approach to solving complex operational problems
- • Excellent communication skills reflected in clear, concise writing and presenting
- • Passion for expanding access to healthcare careers through education
