📋 Description
- • The Director, International Market Management leads College Board’s efforts to expand educational opportunities for students outside the United States, focusing on Latin America, the Caribbean, U.S. territories, and the U.S. Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA). This role is critical to strengthening College Board’s global presence by driving strategic partnerships and program adoption in key international markets.
- • Day to day, the role involves developing and executing strategic plans based on regional educational landscapes, managing a sales pipeline in Salesforce, conducting business reviews with key accounts, identifying market-specific opportunities, and delivering data-informed recommendations to sustain and grow partnerships with schools, universities, and government entities.
- • The individual will collaborate across regional and internal teams to share insights, align strategies, and support program implementation, including organizing workshops and professional development for K–12 and higher education audiences to increase SAT and AP recognition.
- • The role includes managing external relationships with decision-makers in schools, universities, ministries of education, and internal stakeholders, providing coaching to junior staff, and leading or managing regional projects as assigned by leadership.
- • The position offers the opportunity to deepen expertise in international education markets, refine strategic partnership management skills, and contribute meaningfully to College Board’s mission of expanding access to higher education globally.
🎯 Requirements
- • At least 8 years of experience in the education field, with preference for business development, partnerships, or sales.
- • Experience managing large, complex client accounts, including directing service delivery and identifying new business opportunities.
- • Strong communication skills, including the ability to analyze, synthesize, and present data to diverse audiences such as system leaders, educators, students, and families.
- • Fluency in Spanish (preferred), with Portuguese as an asset due to the Latin America focus.
- • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (25–30%) outside the U.S. for business.
- • Residency in the USA and U.S. citizenship with a valid U.S. passport for international travel.
