- • Lead the strategic vision, implementation, and optimization of SAP S/4HANA across Supply Chain, Quality Management, Manufacturing, and related functions within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
- • Serve as the primary functional architect and expert for core SAP modules including PP (Production Planning), MM (Materials Management), QM (Quality Management), EWM (Extended Warehouse Management), SD (Sales Distribution), and related master data.
- • Define and own the SAP S/4HANA functional and solution roadmap aligned with the company’s digital transformation strategy and business objectives in oncology, urology, women’s health, rare diseases, cell & gene therapies, and CNS.
- • Direct end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation projects from blueprinting and configuration through testing, go-live, and post-implementation support.
- • Design and configure business processes for procurement including Direct, Intercompany, and Source-to-Pay workflows integrated with MM and other modules.
- • Oversee production planning (PP), execution (ME integration), inventory management, and material requirements planning (MRP) within SAP S/4HANA to ensure operational efficiency.
- • Implement and govern Quality Management (QM) processes including batch management, inspection plans, stability studies, and integration with manufacturing and logistics systems.
- • Configure and manage Advanced/Embedded Warehouse Management (EWM) for regulated warehouse environments to support compliance and traceability.
- • Ensure all SAP solutions comply with GXP, FDA, and other applicable regulatory standards, including validation, documentation, and audit readiness.
- • Manage a team of internal SAP functional consultants, solution architects, and external system integrators, providing mentorship and performance guidance.
- • Establish and enforce SAP governance processes covering change management, release cycles, configuration control, and documentation standards.
- • Act as the primary liaison between IT, Business Process Owners, and Executive Leadership to align technical solutions with business needs.
- • Translate complex pharmaceutical business requirements into scalable, compliant, and fit-to-standard SAP S/4HANA solutions using industry best practices.
- • Maintain a portfolio of SAP enhancement initiatives and projects, ensuring alignment with budget, timeline, quality, and compliance requirements.
- • Leverage knowledge of S/4HANA architecture, Fiori apps, embedded analytics, and modern SAP integration technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.
- • Maintain high-level communication and presentation skills to influence stakeholders across all organizational levels, including non-technical executives.
- • Travel up to 25% to support implementation, training, and stakeholder alignment across global sites.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of progressive experience in SAP functional and solution delivery with direct leadership of SAP S/4HANA implementation or large-scale transformation projects
- • Deep, hands-on functional expertise in SAP PP (Production Planning), QM (Quality Management), MM (Materials Management), and EWM (Extended Warehouse Management)
- • Demonstrated experience in a highly regulated industry (Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Medical Device) with understanding of GXP, validation, and compliance requirements
- • Proven leadership experience managing large, complex, cross-functional teams and projects
- • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- • Strong understanding of S/4HANA architecture, Fiori apps, embedded analytics, and modern SAP integration technologies

- • Base salary range of $186,880 to $233,600
