- • Lead the overall IT architecture strategy for a dynamic, growing healthcare organization, aligning technology with business goals, regulatory requirements, and emerging innovations to drive operational excellence and patient care improvements.
- • Define and execute a comprehensive IT architecture roadmap, manage a team of network, cloud, and systems architects, and ensure seamless collaboration across IT functions to deliver high-availability, scalable, and secure enterprise solutions.
- • Partner with IT leadership, security, cloud, and business stakeholders to translate clinical and operational needs into technology strategies, enforce governance and compliance (HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST), and optimize cost, performance, and risk mitigation across infrastructure.
- • Guide the design and implementation of network, cloud (AWS, hybrid/multi-cloud), and systems architecture including EHR/EMR (Epic), while fostering innovation through emerging technologies like AI/ML and modern observability tools (DataDog, Dynatrace, Terraform, Kubernetes).
- • Establish KPIs, lead performance management, mentor teams, and ensure continuous improvement in system interoperability, security posture, and ROI on architecture-led initiatives within a regulated healthcare environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
- • 10+ years of progressive experience in IT architecture, including at least 5 years in a leadership role managing network, cloud, and systems architecture teams, preferably within a healthcare organization.
- • Strong experience with network architecture (SD-WAN, VPNs, firewalls, security protocols) and healthcare data exchange networks.
- • Strong experience with cloud architecture (AWS, Well-Architected Framework, hybrid cloud solutions) and assessing/implementing modern platform visibility tools (DataDog, Dynatrace, New Relic, Prometheus/Grafana).
- • Expertise in systems architecture (M365, server infrastructure, virtualization, storage, disaster recovery) and healthcare IT standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM).
- • Knowledge of HIPAA, HITRUST compliance, and cybersecurity frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO27K), with ability to collaborate with security teams.
