• • As the Director of IT Product Management at CLEAResult, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our energy efficiency solutions. This senior leadership role is pivotal in defining the product vision, architecting the strategic roadmap, and guiding cross-functional teams to deliver innovative Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and technology solutions. Your primary objective will be to achieve critical business outcomes and ensure our products not only meet but exceed customer expectations, driving us towards a sustainable, equitable, and carbon-neutral energy future.
• • This position is a dynamic blend of strategic product leadership, hands-on execution, and effective people management. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of a portfolio of technology products, from initial concept and ideation through successful launch, widespread adoption, and continuous optimization. Your leadership will ensure that our product offerings remain at the forefront of the industry, addressing evolving market needs and technological advancements.
• • A core responsibility is to define, own, and champion the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for your assigned technology product portfolio. This must be done in close alignment with CLEAResult's overarching business objectives and a deep understanding of our customers' needs and pain points.
• • You will lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of product managers and product owners. This involves setting clear, ambitious goals, providing consistent coaching and development to foster their growth, and continuously elevating the product management discipline and best practices across the entire organization.
• • Collaboration is key. You will work hand-in-hand with engineering, design, architecture, and IT operations teams to translate high-level strategy into precise, actionable product requirements and deliverables. Your oversight will ensure the delivery of high-quality products on time and within scope, meeting all release criteria.
• • You will drive the end-to-end product lifecycle management process. This includes leading discovery phases, developing robust business cases, managing the execution of development cycles using agile methodologies, overseeing successful launches, monitoring adoption rates, and implementing iterative improvements based on feedback and data.
• • Building and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders is crucial. This includes senior executives, client sponsors, key partners, and industry influencers. Your ability to align priorities, communicate product plans effectively, and report on outcomes will be vital for success.
• • You will be the champion for customer-centricity, leveraging customer insights, product usage data, and comprehensive market research to identify new opportunities, validate critical problems, and meticulously shape the product backlog. This requires a strategic balance between delivering immediate value and making essential long-term platform investments.
• • Partnering closely with delivery and IT leadership, you will ensure that projects are meticulously scoped, adequately resourced, and appropriately staffed to meet ambitious targets for scope, schedule, budget, and quality. Your involvement will help mitigate risks and ensure predictable delivery.
• • As a player-coach, you will provide hands-on leadership when necessary. This means stepping into complex product or technical challenges to unblock teams, resolve critical issues, and maintain project momentum, demonstrating a commitment to the team's success.
• • You will establish and rigorously track key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives and key results (OKRs) for product performance. Utilizing dashboards and advanced analytics, you will guide data-driven decision-making and provide clear, concise progress reports to executives and stakeholders.
• • A commitment to continuous improvement is expected. You will drive the enhancement of product execution methodologies, introducing and embedding industry best practices in areas such as product discovery, prioritization frameworks, release planning, and stakeholder communication.
• • Staying abreast of the latest technology, SaaS, and industry trends is non-negotiable. You will use this knowledge to inform product strategy, guide the adoption of strategic technologies across the product portfolio, and ensure CLEAResult remains an innovative leader.
• • You will own the financial accountability for the product portfolio, including accurate forecasting, diligent tracking, and proactive management of budgets. This ensures the financial health of initiatives and alignment with CLEAResult's cost and revenue targets.
• • This role is based remotely in Texas, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact on the energy sector from your home base.
