  • • Lead the capture process for large-scale, multi-year USSOCOM programs, owning end-to-end pursuit strategies from horizon scanning to proposal submission and award.
  • • Identify, cultivate, and maintain deep relationships with key USSOCOM stakeholders including Program Executive Offices (PEOs), Project Managers (PMs), prime contractors, OEM partners, and end-user communities to influence capability requirements.
  • • Shape technical requirements for long-term defense programs by positioning Silvus’s MN-MIMO waveform and StreamCaster MANET radios as mission-critical solutions for tactical communications.
  • • Manage the full lifecycle of complex, long-cycle DoD programs of record, including whitepaper development, RFI/RFP responses, teaming agreements, and strategic positioning to secure contract awards.
  • • Collaborate closely with the Market Development Executive (MDE) to align pursuit strategy with overall market goals and with Account Sales teams to ensure seamless transition of awarded programs into execution.
  • • Conduct continuous market intelligence gathering on competitor activity, funding priorities, and evolving USSOCOM acquisition trends to inform capture planning and risk mitigation.
  • • Engage in up to 50% travel to facilitate direct customer engagement, attend defense exhibitions, conduct field demonstrations, and support proposal teams in critical meetings.
  • • Perform physical tasks including lifting and moving equipment up to 50 lbs. and managing large Pelican cases for field demonstrations and travel logistics.
  • • Maintain deep familiarity with USSOCOM’s organizational structure, acquisition processes, capability development lifecycle, and U.S. DoD funding cycles to navigate procurement environments effectively.
  • • Apply practical knowledge of product development, technology transition pathways, and military marketing strategies to align Silvus’s communications technology with operational needs of defense and public safety agencies.
  • • Demonstrate strong persuasive communication and executive briefing skills to present technical capabilities to senior military and defense industry decision-makers.
  • • Ensure all business development activities comply with U.S. government contracting regulations and security requirements for classified and sensitive programs.
  • • Support cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and legal to ensure accurate technical representation and contractual alignment in pursuit documentation.
  • • Maintain strict adherence to U.S. citizenship and security clearance requirements for all client-facing activities under U.S. government contracts.
  • • Represent Silvus Technologies at industry events, trade shows, and defense forums to expand market visibility and strengthen strategic partnerships.
  • • Contribute to long-term business planning by identifying emerging opportunities in tactical C5ISR, MANET, and non-line-of-sight communications for USSOCOM and related defense entities.
