đź“‹ Description
- • Knox Systems is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Director of Demand Generation, ABM, and Marketing Operations to spearhead our digital demand engine and drive significant sales-aligned pipeline growth. This pivotal role sits within the Marketing department and reports directly to the VP of Marketing. The primary focus is on generating measurable pipeline through sophisticated digital demand strategies, Account-Based Marketing (ABM) initiatives, and robust Marketing Operations.
- • As the Director, you will be instrumental in building, executing, and scaling Knox's demand generation capabilities. Your mandate extends beyond mere lead generation; you will own the strategy and execution for creating meaningful interest and pipeline across the entire customer journey. This involves defining clear demand and ABM strategies, while also maintaining a hands-on approach to implementation, particularly in the foundational stages.
- • Your success will be measured by your ability to generate tangible, sales-aligned pipeline. This will be achieved through the strategic deployment of integrated digital programs, targeted ABM efforts, and the meticulous management of marketing operations. MQLs (Marketing Qualified Leads) are viewed as a crucial input to the sales process, not the ultimate objective.
- • Collaboration is key to this role. You will work in close partnership with Sales, Content, Product, Solutions, Finance, and Revenue Operations teams. This ensures that all marketing activities are tightly aligned with pipeline outcomes and overarching business priorities, fostering a unified approach to revenue generation.
- • Knox operates in complex, high-stakes markets, serving the U.S. government's most critical missions with secure cloud and AI environments. This context demands a high level of ownership, flexibility, and unwavering commitment. The ideal candidate thrives on solving challenging problems, operates with speed and agility, and is driven by the prospect of making an outsized impact.
- • Key responsibilities include owning the overarching demand generation, ABM, and marketing operations strategy, with an unwavering focus on pipeline creation and revenue impact. You will develop data-driven demand and pipeline plans, incorporating both top-down targets and bottom-up forecasting, in close collaboration with Sales and Finance.
- • You will design, execute, and scale digital-first demand programs that span paid media, website marketing, email nurturing, digital ABM, and other performance-driven channels. A significant part of this will involve building, executing, and iterating on ABM programs that are meticulously aligned with Sales' account strategies, supporting multi-touch, multi-channel engagement across key buying committees.
- • Partnership with the Content team on SEO and AEO (Account-Enabled Optimization) strategy is essential, while you will own the technical, operational, and performance aspects that drive discoverability and conversion. The Knox website will be treated as a core demand and conversion engine, requiring continuous updates, optimization, automation, and alignment with digital campaigns and pipeline goals.
- • You will be responsible for defining and managing demand generation and marketing operations budgets, diligently tracking ROI and reallocating investment based on performance data. Furthermore, you will define, implement, and scale essential marketing operations processes and martech stack, including marketing automation, attribution modeling, lead scoring, lead routing, lifecycle stage management, and seamless hand-offs to the Sales team.
- • Building comprehensive dashboards and reporting mechanisms is crucial for aligning Marketing, SDR, and Sales teams around shared pipeline metrics, ensuring visibility and accountability. You will consistently strive to meet or exceed pipeline generation targets, providing detailed reports on results, insights, and learnings to the executive team.
- • While building repeatable digital demand, ABM, and ops playbooks to support future scale, you will remain hands-on, ensuring practical application and continuous improvement. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a proven ability to execute tactically in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
- • Knox Systems is committed to building and operating secure cloud and AI environments that support the U.S. government's most critical missions. Our work is purpose-driven, high-impact, and requires speed, rigor, and trust. The environments we secure cannot fail, and your contributions will be visible, your expertise relied upon, and the impact of your work immediate and measurable. We operate at federal scale, securing some of the most sensitive government environments in the country.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 5 years of B2B demand generation experience, with a strong preference for SaaS or complex, technical product environments.
- • Proven track record of generating sales-aligned pipeline through digital demand generation and Account-Based Marketing (ABM) programs.
- • Extensive experience across various digital demand channels, including paid advertising (SEM, social, display), website optimization, email marketing, lead nurturing, digital ABM, and performance marketing.
- • Demonstrated ability to set data-driven targets, build accurate forecasts, and optimize program performance based on rigorous analysis of results.
- • Solid experience with marketing operations, martech stack management, and automation tools, including proficiency in attribution modeling, lead scoring, lead routing, and CRM integration (e.g., Salesforce).
- • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and compelling executive-level reports.
- • Proven ability to operate strategically while also executing tactically, demonstrating both vision and hands-on capability.
- • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-accountability environments.
- • U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of our work with federal government clients and compliance with applicable regulations. Candidates must provide documentation verifying U.S. citizenship status.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans.
- • Life and Disability insurance coverage.
- • Unlimited Paid Time Off (PTO) through a Professional Employer Organization (PEO).
- • Employee-funded 401k plan.
- • Opportunity to work on high-impact, purpose-driven projects supporting critical U.S. government missions.
- • Remote work flexibility.
- • A collaborative and inclusive work environment that celebrates diversity.
