  • • As the Director of Election Security at Apollo Information Systems LLC, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding the integrity of democratic processes across the United States. This pivotal leadership role is designed for a seasoned expert with a profound understanding of election systems and a fervent dedication to protecting critical national infrastructure. You will be instrumental in shaping, expanding, and leading Apollo's election security offerings, serving as the primary architect of our program portfolio and its external ambassador.
  • • Your responsibilities will span strategic development, client engagement, and operational oversight. You will leverage your deep expertise to guide the design and evolution of our election security services, ensuring they are scalable, effective, and aligned with the unique challenges faced by state and local election authorities. This role demands a proactive approach to identifying emerging threats and developing innovative solutions to counter them.
  • • A significant aspect of this position involves direct engagement with potential clients. You will participate in sales conversations, articulate Apollo's value proposition, and build trust with election officials nationwide. Your ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights will be crucial in securing new contracts and expanding our market presence.
  • • You will also represent Apollo at industry conferences, speaking events, podcasts, and through written content, establishing yourself and the company as leading authorities in election security. This thought leadership will be key to driving revenue and enhancing Apollo's reputation.
  • • Operationally, you will guide and coordinate the program management team, ensuring seamless execution of client engagements. This includes aligning task assignments, prioritizing efforts, and preparing program managers to effectively support the program. You will be responsible for identifying and assessing program risks, developing robust mitigation plans, and maintaining comprehensive program documentation.
  • • As the primary point of contact for all program stakeholders, vendors, and third-party contractors, you will foster transparent communication regarding program status, risks, issues, and changes throughout the entire program lifecycle. Your leadership will ensure that multiple concurrent program engagements are delivered on schedule, within scope, and to the highest quality standards set by Apollo and our clients.
  • • The role also encompasses the critical task of program closeout, ensuring all deliverables are finalized, post-engagement evaluations are conducted, and lessons learned are captured and disseminated across all nested projects and sub-programs. You will manage key stakeholder relationships, fostering strong partnerships built on trust and mutual success.
  • • Furthermore, you will actively support new opportunity development by evangelizing Apollo's Election Security services and connecting with the broader election security ecosystem. This includes staying abreast of the latest trends, threats, and best practices in the field.
  • • This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on the security and trustworthiness of elections. If you possess a passion for cybersecurity, a deep understanding of election processes, and a drive to build and lead impactful programs, we encourage you to apply.
  • • You will be expected to quickly immerse yourself in Apollo's current operations, processes, and program structure. Within your first 30 days, you will review project documentation, meet clients, and become the go-to contact for program stakeholders. By 90 days, you will be refreshing documentation, ensuring project coordinators are meeting client expectations, and identifying areas for program improvement. Within 180 days, you will fully own the program portfolio, lead engagement deliveries and budgets, provide senior management with program health assessments, and spearhead the planning for program growth.
