📋 Description

• As Director of Enterprise Security at Sunrun Inc., you will lead the organization’s cybersecurity strategy to protect enterprise systems, customer data, and critical business applications, directly supporting Sunrun’s mission to deliver reliable, affordable solar energy to millions of homes.
• Day to day, you will direct and manage enterprise, cloud, and application security programs; design and implement security controls across infrastructure and cloud environments; integrate security into the software development lifecycle; oversee vulnerability and patch management; lead risk assessments; and partner with engineering and product teams to remediate vulnerabilities in enterprise applications.
• You will join a mission-driven, vertically integrated residential solar and storage company recognized as the #1 home solar and battery provider in America, where employee development, well-being, and safety are prioritized within a dynamic, innovative culture.
• In this role, you will develop strategic cybersecurity leadership skills, influence senior leadership on risk mitigation, deepen expertise in cloud and application security frameworks, and drive measurable improvements in enterprise security posture while advancing Sunrun’s clean energy mission.

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s in Computer or Software Engineering + 3 years of experience as a CIS Manager managing cybersecurity teams/programs, designing cloud security controls, integrating security into SDLC, and using Python, C++, IBM QRadar, Imperva Incapsula, IBM BigFix, Nexpose, Symantec PGP, Duo, and Linux
• OR Bachelor’s in Computer or Software Engineering + 5 years of experience as a CIS Manager managing cybersecurity teams/programs, designing cloud security controls, integrating security into SDLC, and using Python, C++, IBM QRadar, Imperva Incapsula, IBM BigFix, Nexpose, Symantec PGP, Duo, and Linux
• Proven ability to develop and implement enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategies aligned with industry frameworks and regulatory requirements
• Experience leading risk assessment activities and ensuring remediation of security risks across enterprise platforms and services
• Demonstrated success partnering with product, engineering, and technology teams to identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities in enterprise systems and applications
