- • Lead strategic product initiatives for Reimbursement Account Solutions, Verification Services Solutions, and Compliance Solutions within Alight’s Benefits Administration portfolio.
- • Define and drive product vision, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes aligned with executive leadership goals and market opportunities.
- • Translate regulatory requirements (e.g., ACA reporting, POA, QDRO) and compliance needs into product features and operational workflows.
- • Manage a team of senior Product Managers and Product Owners, establishing performance expectations, career development plans, and a culture of accountability and collaboration.
- • Oversee large-scale, multi-year product initiatives across cross-functional teams including engineering, UX design, analytics, operations, compliance, and client delivery.
- • Partner with engineering teams to ensure clear scope, timelines, and deliverables are defined and understood, applying Agile methodologies for iterative delivery and predictable outcomes.
- • Conduct deep analysis of client and member needs in spending account management (FSA, HSA, HRA, commuter, lifestyle accounts) and dependent verification services to inform product decisions.
- • Collaborate with user experience and research teams to implement persona-driven design that improves usability, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
- • Define and track key success metrics and KPIs, owning plans to drive product performance and client adoption.
- • Act as the primary product liaison to executive leadership, communicating strategy, progress, and outcomes to senior stakeholders.
- • Build consensus among stakeholders with competing priorities, ensuring alignment across product, technology, legal, compliance, and client relationship teams.
- • Ensure all products meet applicable federal and state regulatory standards and proactively collaborate with legal and compliance teams to anticipate regulatory changes.
- • Balance short-term delivery commitments with long-term innovation to sustain competitive advantage and client value.
- • Maintain transparency through regular updates on OKRs and product performance metrics to executive leadership and internal partners.
- • Incorporate commercial feedback, operational data, and client insights into product planning and prioritization.
- • Support the end-to-end product lifecycle from scoping and requirement gathering through solution design, validation, deployment, and client adoption.
🎯 Requirements
- • 15+ years of experience in benefits administration or employee benefits, with increasing responsibility in product roles
- • Proven track record of leading large, complex enterprise product initiatives
- • Experience managing and developing teams of senior Product Managers and Product Owners
- • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and modern product delivery practices
- • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and build alignment across functions
- • Deep expertise in spending account management (FSA, HSA, HRA, commuter, lifestyle accounts), dependent verification services, and compliance services (ACA reporting, POA, QDRO)
