• • The Director of Industrial Engineering at Cart.com leads the industrial engineering team to drive efficiency, scalability, and performance across fulfillment operations by integrating new technologies and optimizing processes.
• • Day to day, the role involves leading and mentoring the engineering team, collaborating with cross-functional teams (operations, IT, client services), evaluating and improving fulfillment processes, developing project plans and budgets, overseeing system testing and validation, analyzing performance metrics, and ensuring smooth client onboarding.
• • Cart.com is a fast-growing commerce enablement company providing digital and physical infrastructure to unify commerce operations for B2C, B2B, and public sector clients, with over 6,000+ customers, 1,600+ employees globally, and 17 warehouses totaling over 10 million square feet.
• • In this role, the individual will develop leadership expertise in industrial engineering within e-commerce logistics, drive innovation through process automation and technology integration, and contribute to Cart.com’s mission of becoming the global backbone of commerce by enabling efficient and scalable fulfillment operations.
