📋 Description

• As the Director of Payment Products at Notabene Global Inc., you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of digital finance, specifically focusing on the evolution and expansion of Notabene Flow, our innovative payment authorization product. This is a pivotal role where you will define the strategic direction, feature set, and overall user experience of a product that is poised to become the leading solution for institutions managing stablecoin and digital asset transactions at scale.
• You will be instrumental in transforming our initial product release into a robust, market-leading platform. This involves a deep dive into customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape to identify and prioritize features, workflows, and data requirements that will drive adoption and commercial success. Your work will directly influence the product roadmap and its alignment with the company's overarching strategic goals.
• A key aspect of this role is acting as the expert voice for Notabene Flow within our unified platform infrastructure. While Engineering owns the platform's technical execution, you will be responsible for articulating the 'why' behind Flow's requirements. This demands a rigorous approach to defining user stories, data needs, and functional specifications, ensuring that Flow's priorities are clearly communicated and championed, especially in a shared environment where our compliance product, Transact, also requires significant engineering attention.
• You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product Design, and Go-to-Market (GTM), fostering a partnership where your product vision is translated into tangible development efforts. You will provide the essential customer and market context that empowers the engineering team to make informed decisions about platform development, ensuring that the 'how' and 'when' of development align with the 'why' of the product strategy.
• This role offers direct access to senior leadership, reporting directly to the CEO. You will work hand-in-hand with the CEO on Flow's strategy, market positioning, and overall business objectives. This high-visibility position places you at the strategic core of Notabene's growth trajectory, granting you a significant voice in critical product decisions and company direction.
• Your responsibilities will span the entire product lifecycle, from initial customer discovery and ideation through to feature prioritization, development oversight, and post-launch performance measurement. You will be expected to conduct extensive customer research, engaging with existing clients, prospects, and partners to gain a profound understanding of the challenges and opportunities within payment authorization across various industry verticals.
• You will be tasked with developing and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge base of the stablecoin and digital payments ecosystem. This includes staying abreast of competitor activities, emerging partner capabilities, and evolving regulatory frameworks. This expertise will inform product strategy and ensure Notabene remains at the cutting edge of the industry.
• A critical part of your success will be defining and meticulously tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure Flow's effectiveness. Metrics such as transaction volume, customer retention rates, time-to-first-value, and expansion revenue will be crucial in demonstrating product-market fit and guiding future development efforts.
• You will also play a key role in shaping the narrative around Notabene Flow. Collaborating with the GTM team, you will help craft compelling positioning and messaging that clearly articulates the product's value proposition to business-side buyers within banks and fintech institutions, ensuring they immediately grasp its significance and benefits.
• Ultimately, your mission is to ensure that Notabene Flow becomes the indispensable payment authorization layer for institutions operating in the digital asset space, driving significant growth and solidifying Notabene's position as a leader in transforming how money moves in the digital economy.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in product management or product strategy, with a significant portion focused on payments, stablecoin infrastructure, or digital financial services.
• Proven track record of successfully owning and commercializing a payments product from its early stages through to achieving significant market traction.
• Deep understanding of payment flows, transaction authorization mechanisms, and the institutional financial ecosystem (including PSPs, exchanges, fintechs, and banks).
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams, build trust, and drive roadmap alignment without direct hierarchical authority.
• Strong customer discovery skills, with a proven ability to conduct insightful conversations that uncover genuine user needs and feedback.
