đź“‹ Description
- • Propelus Inc. is seeking a visionary and results-oriented Director of Product to spearhead the strategic direction and growth of our B2B product portfolio. This pivotal leadership role is designed for an individual with profound expertise in the healthcare technology sector, specifically within B2B SaaS environments. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of our product suite, which empowers healthcare organizations to master the intricate challenges of hiring, credentialing, and comprehensive workforce compliance. Your leadership will directly impact millions of healthcare professionals, their employers, and regulatory bodies, fostering a more connected, efficient, and compliant healthcare ecosystem.
- • As a Director of Product at Propelus, you will own the overarching strategy and execution for our multi-product B2B healthcare suite. This involves identifying untapped market expansion opportunities, developing sophisticated pricing strategies that align with market dynamics and value delivery, and championing product-led growth (PLG) initiatives to accelerate adoption and revenue. Your strategic vision will be the driving force behind our product roadmap, ensuring it not only meets current market demands but also anticipates future trends and regulatory shifts.
- • A core aspect of this role is cultivating a culture of deep product ownership and strategic accountability within your team. You will directly manage, mentor, and develop a talented group of Product Managers. Your leadership will guide them away from a purely reactive, day-to-day tactical approach, empowering them to become strategic thinkers who deeply understand their product areas and their impact on the business. This involves fostering an environment where innovation thrives, and the team is motivated to deliver exceptional value.
- • You will be a key player in Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies, working in close collaboration with our Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success departments. Your responsibility extends to ensuring cohesive and effective GTM execution, with a strong focus on achieving revenue targets from a product-centric perspective. This includes identifying strategic moments to penetrate new markets and optimizing strategies to maximize Net Revenue Retention (NRR), ensuring sustained growth and client satisfaction.
- • Navigating the complex and ever-evolving regulatory landscape of healthcare is a critical function of this role. You will be responsible for translating intricate and shifting regulatory mandates into actionable product opportunities. Your ability to ensure our product portfolio remains the industry's gold standard for compliance, while simultaneously maintaining a rapid pace of innovation, will be paramount. This requires a keen understanding of both regulatory requirements and technological possibilities.
- • You will serve as the strategic lead for crucial roadmap decisions, particularly concerning integration strategy and the redefinition of User Experience (UX). The goal is to ensure that our integrations are seamless and that our UX is not just intuitive but a significant driver of tangible business value for our enterprise clients. This involves understanding how product design and functionality directly contribute to client success and operational efficiency.
- • Demonstrating strategic business impact is essential. You will establish clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and robust reporting cadences to effectively communicate the Return on Investment (ROI) and business cases for the B2B portfolio to the C-suite. You will act as the primary advocate for the portfolio's performance, championing its successes and articulating future investment needs to secure resources for continued growth and development.
- • This role demands a proactive, self-starter mentality. You will take full ownership of the B2B product portfolio from day one, requiring minimal oversight to execute complex, growth-oriented plans. Your ability to manage ambiguity, make data-driven decisions, and inspire confidence in stakeholders will be key to your success. You will treat the product portfolio as your own business, demonstrating a deep understanding of unit economics, monetization models, and pricing strategies to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.
- • Furthermore, you will leverage your deep understanding of product analytics, A/B testing, and conversion optimization to guide product development and strategic decision-making. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is expected, as is a solid understanding of AI/ML applications and proficiency in essential product management tools such as Jira, Productboard, and Confluence. Your exceptional written and verbal communication skills will be vital in distilling complex data into a clear, compelling vision that resonates with both internal teams and sophisticated enterprise clients.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7–10+ years of product management and/or leadership experience, specifically within Healthcare SaaS, Workforce Management, Credentialing, or HR Compliance.
- • At least 3 years of experience managing and developing a team of Product Managers, with a proven ability to elevate a team's strategic thinking and execution capabilities.
- • A demonstrable track record of defining product visions and translating them into actionable roadmaps that have driven measurable revenue outcomes and market growth.
- • Deep understanding of product analytics, A/B testing, and conversion optimization principles to inform product strategy and decision-making.
- • Exceptional written and verbal communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Awarded one of BuiltIn's 2025 Best Places to Work and honored as a Silver Stevie® Award Winner in the 2025 Stevie Awards For Great Employers.
- • Professional development allowance to support continuous learning and career growth.
- • Generous Paid Time Off (PTO), including specific paid time off for volunteering, birthdays, and new parenthood.
- • Comprehensive health insurance options (medical, dental, vision) with choices including HSA, FSA, and traditional plans, plus 401K with company matching for US employees.
- • Lifestyle Spending Account (LSA) to support personal well-being, covering expenses like gym memberships, meditation apps, WFH equipment, or healthy food options.
