- • As the Director of Product, Growth/AI at Brex, you will be a pivotal leader shaping the future of our AI-powered spend platform. You will spearhead the strategy and execution for our Growth Product team, focusing on driving customer acquisition and optimizing the onboarding journey. This role is critical in empowering our Go-to-Market (GTM) and Marketing teams with cutting-edge features, intelligent models, and robust tools designed to maximize their effectiveness and efficiency.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to define and execute a multi-quarter growth strategy, working in close collaboration with Engineering, Design, GTM, Marketing, Operations, and Data science teams. This strategy will focus on delivering high-impact, scalable products that demonstrably improve key GTM metrics such as Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) payback, pipeline conversion rates, and overall operational efficiency.
- • You will embed yourself within our Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success departments to deeply understand their workflows, identify bottlenecks, and lead initiatives focused on automation and optimization. This hands-on approach ensures that product development is directly addressing real-world challenges and opportunities.
- • A significant part of your role will involve analyzing the GTM funnel and conversion metrics. By uncovering actionable insights from this data, you will guide product priorities and shape the product roadmap, ensuring that our efforts are aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
- • You will be responsible for setting clear goals, defining key performance indicators (KPIs), and establishing success criteria for the Growth team. This will foster a culture of accountability and drive a relentless focus on measurable outcomes and business impact.
- • As a leader, you will manage and develop a team of talented Product Managers. Your role will involve fostering an environment of clarity, ownership, and high performance, enabling your team to achieve their full potential and contribute significantly to Brex's success.
- • You will oversee core Growth Product and Engineering domains, including critical areas such as account scoring, Total Addressable Market (TAM) data enrichment, outbound automation strategies, and the development of essential GTM tooling. This broad oversight ensures a cohesive and effective growth engine.
- • A key aspect of your leadership will be aligning diverse stakeholders around an aspirational 6-12 month roadmap. This roadmap will be designed to significantly advance GTM efficiency and drive substantial business growth, requiring strong communication and influencing skills.
- • You will ensure the successful activation and implementation of customer initiatives by partnering closely with GTM and Customer Success teams. This involves operationalizing new tooling and automations to streamline the customer journey from acquisition to full adoption.
- • Continuous refinement of the activation process will be crucial. You will leverage feedback and performance data to drive faster time-to-value for new customers and ensure sustainable adoption of Brex's platform, ultimately contributing to increased customer lifetime value and retention.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage AI and machine learning to transform how Brex acquires and onboards customers. Past successes in this domain include developing AI agents for GTM workflows, building best-in-class GTM data and enrichment systems, implementing ML models for account prioritization, and creating sophisticated prospect AI classification systems.
- • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams located across San Francisco, New York, Seattle, Vancouver, Brazil, and remote locations, requiring excellent remote collaboration and communication skills.
- • The Director of Product, Growth/AI will play a critical role in scaling Brex's customer base and enhancing the efficiency of our sales and marketing efforts, directly contributing to the company's rapid growth and market leadership in the AI-powered spend platform space.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of experience in product management or management consulting, with a strong focus on scaling B2B products and GTM systems, including deep expertise in growth, GTM, and/or marketing pipelines.
- • Demonstrated strong analytical skills with a proven ability to use data for decision-making; basic SQL proficiency is highly preferred.
- • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with a track record of effectively working with senior leaders and executives, and building strong relationships across Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Business Systems, IT, and Legal.
- • A systems-thinking mindset, capable of identifying bottlenecks and opportunities for efficiency, automation, fraud prevention, and product growth across product, technical, and people systems within the payables ecosystem.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive salary range of $340,000 - $425,000, with base pay determined by location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity.
- • Potential for equity and other forms of compensation as part of a comprehensive total compensation package.
- • Opportunity to work with a leading AI-powered spend platform and contribute to its rapid growth and innovation.
- • Collaborative and dynamic work environment with a focus on diversity and inclusion.
