This pivotal role acts as the essential conduit, seamlessly connecting the deep expertise of our litigation consulting Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with the innovative capabilities of Magna’s technology organization.
- • You will be instrumental in translating the intricate workflows, stringent evidentiary requirements, and client-centric service models inherent in litigation consulting into robust, scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions. This requires a unique blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, ensuring our products not only meet but exceed the evolving needs of the legal industry.
- • This position demands an individual who is equally adept at engaging in consultative discussions with seasoned expert witnesses and trial consultants, understanding their nuanced perspectives and operational challenges, as they are at collaborating closely with our engineering, data science, and artificial intelligence teams to bring production-ready systems to life.
- • As a high-impact, cross-functional leadership role, you will be at the very heart of Magna’s ongoing commitment to innovation within litigation technology. Your leadership will directly influence the development and enhancement of tools and platforms that empower our clients and internal teams to achieve superior outcomes in complex legal proceedings.
- • You will own the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and market research through to development, launch, and ongoing iteration. This includes defining product roadmaps, prioritizing features based on business value and client impact, and ensuring successful adoption and user satisfaction.
- • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across various departments, including Sales, Marketing, Legal Operations, and Litigation Consulting teams, to gather requirements, validate product concepts, and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
- • Conduct thorough market analysis and competitive research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential threats within the litigation support and legal technology landscape. Use these insights to inform product strategy and drive competitive differentiation.
- • Define clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, working in partnership with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
- • Partner with engineering leads to oversee the development process, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products that meet technical specifications and business needs. This includes managing backlogs, participating in sprint planning, and facilitating effective communication between product and development teams.
- • Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies in collaboration with Marketing and Sales teams, including product positioning, messaging, and training materials.
- • Monitor product performance post-launch, analyzing key metrics, gathering user feedback, and identifying areas for improvement and future development.
- • Champion a data-driven approach to product management, leveraging analytics to understand user behavior, measure success, and make informed decisions about product enhancements.
- • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the product team, encouraging experimentation and the adoption of best practices in agile product development.
- • Serve as a subject matter expert on Magna’s litigation consulting technology offerings, capable of presenting to clients, internal teams, and at industry events.
- • Manage and mentor a team of product managers or analysts as the department grows, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
- • Ensure all product development adheres to strict data privacy, security, and compliance standards relevant to the legal industry.
- • Drive the strategic integration of AI and machine learning capabilities into our litigation consulting products to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and insights for our clients.
- • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key external partners and technology vendors, evaluating and integrating third-party solutions where appropriate.
- • Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with product development and launch, ensuring smooth execution and successful outcomes.
- • Contribute to the overall strategic planning and vision for Magna Legal Services, particularly as it relates to the intersection of legal services and technology innovation.
- • This role is critical for ensuring Magna Legal Services remains at the forefront of legal technology, providing cutting-edge solutions that streamline complex legal processes and deliver exceptional value to our clients.
🎯 Requirements

- • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to executive leadership and external clients.
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of using data to drive product decisions.
- • Experience working with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and collaborating closely with engineering and design teams.
- • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
