📋 Description

• • Own the strategic vision and roadmap for Armada’s Edge Platform—the core orchestration layer that turns rugged edge hardware into a seamless extension of major clouds. You will define how thousands of distributed nodes are discovered, provisioned, monitored, and updated with zero-touch autonomy, ensuring enterprise-grade SLAs even when connectivity is intermittent.
• • Translate complex edge requirements from industrial, SLED, and critical-infrastructure customers into crisp product priorities. You will run quarterly planning, OKR definition, and backlog grooming while balancing long-term platform extensibility with near-term revenue milestones.
• • Architect a multi-tenant control plane that abstracts heterogeneous hardware (GPU, CPU, FPGA, sensors) and network topologies (5G, Starlink, private LTE) behind a single declarative API. Your design decisions will determine how easily developers deploy AI inference, SCADA analytics, and immersive training at the edge.
• • Drive distributed-operations excellence. You will specify autonomous health-checks, predictive-maintenance heuristics, and self-healing workflows that allow edge sites to run for months without human intervention, then surface actionable telemetry to centralized NOC dashboards.
• • Champion an open, extensible plugin ecosystem. You will publish SDKs, CLI tools, and Terraform providers that let partners integrate custom accelerators, security agents, and compliance scanners without forking the core platform.
• • Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware engineering to influence board-level design, with DevRel to craft sample blueprints, and with field operations to codify deployment playbooks. Your voice will be the authoritative “customer in the room” during every technical review.
• • Establish pricing and packaging that scales from single-node oil-rigs to thousand-site retail rollouts. You will model COGS, benchmark against hyperscaler edge services, and iterate on tiered licensing that rewards density and commitment.
• • Evangelize the platform at KubeCon, Edge Computing World, and closed-door CxO briefings. You will distill technical breakthroughs into crisp narratives that resonate with both DevOps practitioners and Fortune-500 CTOs.
• • Build and mentor a high-performing product team of PMs, technical writers, and UX designers. You will institute lightweight rituals—design sprints, customer councils, blameless post-mortems—that keep velocity high and culture healthy.
• • Measure what matters. You will instrument adoption funnels, NPS, and customer-usage telemetry, turning raw data into quarterly board-level insights that guide investment and hiring decisions.
