- • As the Director of MENA Public Policy at Roblox Corporation, you will develop and implement an engagement strategy with key policymakers, stakeholders, and opinion leaders across the Middle East and North Africa region, playing a critical role in shaping Roblox’s future in the country by establishing and executing effective public policy strategies.
- • You will maintain and build relationships with regional policymakers and political figures, identify, monitor, and analyze policy issues affecting Roblox in MENA, develop and execute policy strategies around issues important to Roblox, advise internal stakeholders on policy matters as inputs to product development and business operations, and articulate Roblox’s public policy positions through briefing papers and consultation responses.
- • You will join a global team at Roblox, a company building tools and platforms that empower a global community of developers and creators to bring imaginative experiences to life, with a mission to connect a billion people with optimism and civility through safe, civil shared experiences in 3D immersive digital environments.
- • In this role, you will have the opportunity to advance Roblox’s business and priorities in the MENA region, drive compliance and risk mitigation on critical issues such as gaming, child safety, artificial intelligence, privacy, and consumer protection, and grow your leadership impact by taking on increasing responsibilities and calculated risks for professional development.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, International Relations, Media, Technology, or a related field of study, or equivalent experience.
- • 10+ years of experience working with policymakers and stakeholders in the MENA region.
- • Deep knowledge of the MENA policymaking and public opinion process.
- • Extensive experience in intelligence collection and analysis, strategy development, project management, and cross-functional partnership.
- • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
