  • • Lead total rewards strategies for service center and operational employees across 250+ senior living, home health, hospice, and home care operations in 19 states.
  • • Oversee the administration of self-insured and fully-insured medical, dental, vision, and RX benefit plans, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • • Manage vendor relationships with TPAs, benefit enrollment platforms, carriers, and brokers to ensure quality service delivery and cost efficiency.
  • • Administer 401(k) and NQDCP retirement plans, including vendor support, compliance reporting, and integration with payroll and HRIS systems.
  • • Direct open enrollment processes and new employee onboarding for benefits across all operational affiliates.
  • • Ensure accurate compliance reporting for ACA, Form 5500, and NDT requirements related to health and retirement benefit programs.
  • • Lead Leave of Absence administration, coordinating with HR and legal teams to maintain regulatory adherence and employee support.
  • • Partner with Payroll and HRIS teams to ensure seamless integration and accuracy of benefit elections and payroll deductions.
  • • Develop and deliver employee communication and education programs on total rewards, benefits, and compensation to drive understanding and engagement.
  • • Chair the Pennant Health and Welfare Committee and lead the Benefit Advisory Field Team to align benefit strategies with field needs.
  • • Advise affiliate leaders on designing and implementing progressive compensation and reward programs tailored to home health, hospice, and senior living operations.
  • • Develop and recommend HR policies and procedures related to compensation, employee experience, and performance management to ensure legal compliance and risk mitigation.
  • • Coach and develop HR Resource team members in benefits, total rewards, and employment practices to strengthen organizational capability.
  • • Promote and model the company’s CAPLICO core values (Customer Second, Accountability, Passion for Learning, Love One Another, Intelligent Risk Taking, Celebrate, Ownership) in all employee relations and leadership interactions.
  • • Support employee engagement initiatives and contribute to top-box employee satisfaction and retention metrics through strategic total rewards design.
  • • Provide direct, transparent feedback and foster accountability across shared resource teams and field leadership.
  • • Participate in all HR and Benefits Management matters alongside HR Resource Partners to ensure alignment and consistency across the organization.
  • • Travel as needed to support field operations and collaborate with affiliate leaders on benefits and HR initiatives.
  • • Maintain a detail-oriented approach to managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and compliance obligations in a fast-paced, multi-state environment.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 8+ years’ experience in benefit management and HR administration
  • • Bachelor’s Degree in business, law, human resources, or equivalent program
  • • Extensive knowledge of state and federal employment compliance rules and regulations
  • • Experience managing broker, carrier, and vendor relations
  • • Proficiency with benefit enrollment platforms and integration with payroll and HRIS systems
  • • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop leadership in human capital management
