- • Lead the global performance marketing strategy for 1Password, driving both product-led growth (PLG) and sales-led growth (SLG) through paid channels, with accountability for pipeline generation and revenue contribution.
- • Direct a high-performing team responsible for executing paid programs across paid social (LinkedIn, Meta, Reddit), paid search, programmatic advertising, content syndication, and traditional media, ensuring each channel contributes measurably across awareness, consideration, and conversion stages.
- • Design and implement a multi-year performance marketing roadmap aligned with 1Password’s PLG and SLG targets, establishing clear quarterly and annual plans with measurable milestones and budget allocations.
- • Embed AI as a core component of marketing workflows, leveraging LLM-powered tools and AI agent frameworks to optimize campaign planning, creative testing, audience development, performance analysis, and real-time decision-making.
- • Reduce time-to-insight and time-to-action by integrating AI-enhanced analytics into daily and weekly operational rhythms, moving the team from gut-driven to evidence-backed investment choices.
- • Own end-to-end paid channel performance, delivering pipeline and revenue results that meet or exceed targets across North America and EMEA, with a focus on IT, Security, and Engineering buyer personas in SMB, Commercial, and Enterprise segments.
- • Build and maintain a full-funnel paid channel portfolio with transparent attribution, demonstrating how each channel drives outcomes at every stage of the customer journey.
- • Deliver accurate, transparent budget forecasts with detailed variance explanations, using AI-powered planning models to improve efficiency metrics such as CPL, CAC, and pipeline ROI year-over-year.
- • Make bold, data-informed budget recommendations, including reallocating spend away from underperforming channels, even when they are historically favored, to maximize overall return.
- • Lead a team of marketers, AI agents, and managers, fostering a culture of growth, retention, and accountability where individuals have clear development plans and are challenged by meaningful, high-impact work.
- • Establish the performance marketing team as a trusted partner within Marketing and across the organization by producing rigorous, fast, and business-outcome-aligned work.
- • Champion an AI-forward culture across the team, encouraging active learning of AI best practices and identifying practical opportunities to apply AI in daily marketing operations.
- • Report weekly and monthly performance insights using AI to continuously update and broadcast analysis, ensuring stakeholders understand the drivers behind results and the decisions required.
- • Operate at the intersection of strategic vision, deep performance marketing expertise, and technology fluency, balancing long-term planning with operational rigor in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- • Travel for in-person engagement as required, including annual department-wide offsites, team meetings, and customer or industry events, as part of 1Password’s remote-first but connection-driven culture.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years in B2B performance marketing or demand generation with a track record of hitting pipeline and revenue contribution targets
- • Demonstrated results using AI in a marketing context, with specific examples of application, impact, and outcomes
- • Proven success scaling paid programs in B2B SaaS with quantifiable results
- • Deep expertise across paid social (LinkedIn, Meta, Reddit), paid search, programmatic, content syndication, and traditional media
- • Experience managing inside a sales-assisted or enterprise GTM motion with strong handoff processes to Sales
- • Experience with AI agent frameworks or LLM-powered marketing workflows at a practical level
