You will be the architect of interoperability, ensuring that our technological offerings seamlessly integrate with client systems, thereby transforming financial infrastructure and unlocking the full potential of Bitcoin and Layer-2 technologies for global enterprises.
• • In this dynamic role, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass leading the intricate architecture and integration of multi-system client platforms. This involves meticulously connecting banking systems, enterprise infrastructure, and Blockstream's proprietary technologies to create cohesive and powerful solutions. You will be a key collaborator, working in close partnership with the Director, Industry Lead, Financial Services, to translate high-level industry-specific solution strategies and reference architectures into tangible, production-ready platform designs. Furthermore, you will collaborate with the Head of Solutions to refine platform architecture and chart the technical direction, ensuring innovation and alignment with our strategic goals. Your partnership with the Head of Delivery will be crucial in guaranteeing that all systems are not only buildable and testable but also possess the inherent scalability and reliability required for production environments.
• • A core aspect of your role will be to define and own the overarching platform integration strategy. This strategic mandate includes the detailed design of API architecture and system connectivity, ensuring seamless communication between disparate systems. You will be responsible for mapping out data flows, defining data models, and orchestrating complex platform operations to ensure efficiency and data integrity. The design and implementation of event-driven architectures and messaging systems will be critical for enabling real-time data processing and responsiveness. Moreover, you will establish and govern robust integration frameworks and reusable patterns, ensuring consistency and adherence to industry reference architectures as defined by the Industry Lead. This includes setting standards for cross-platform interoperability, guaranteeing that diverse components can work together harmoniously.
• • You will be instrumental in designing the intricate interplay between APIs, data pipelines, platform services, and advanced AI-enabled capabilities.
