- • As a Director, Product Development - Value Management (Auto/Umbrella) at USAA, you will lead a team responsible for shaping the future of value delivery for Property Casualty Auto and Umbrella products, ensuring alignment between business and technology priorities through disciplined portfolio governance and investment oversight.
- • Day to day, you will oversee the development and launch of innovative digital-first products, manage product lifecycle from concept to post-launch maintenance, lead cross-functional strategy formulation using data and member insights, coach and develop team members, and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and risk management standards.
- • You will join USAA’s Underwriting and Product Development (UPD) area, a mission-driven organization committed to serving the military community and their families with financial security, exceptional service, and trusted advice, guided by core values of honesty, integrity, loyalty, and service.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in product portfolio governance, agile solution delivery, and enterprise-level risk management while driving innovation in Auto, Umbrella, and Telematics products, with opportunities to influence strategic direction and mentor high-performing teams.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or Statistics; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
- • 8 years of relevant industry experience in Actuary, Underwriting, Marketing, or Operations, including direct product management experience.
- • 3 years of direct team lead or management experience.
- • Experience developing product strategies, product plans, and product roadmaps.
- • Demonstrated experience in developing, deploying, and supporting product and/or integrated suite of products.
- • Knowledge and application of Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC).
