• • As the Director, Product Management, Identity at AgileBits Inc., you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of digital security and productivity. This pivotal role is responsible for leading the strategy and execution of the systems that govern identity integration, platform, and access management. You will own the critical identity infrastructure and platform that enables secure agentic operations, streamlined developer workflows, and robust machine-to-machine access across complex enterprise environments. Your work will directly influence customer retention, expansion opportunities, and the long-term durability and scalability of the 1Password platform, ensuring that millions of users and thousands of businesses can operate securely in an increasingly digital world.
• • In this dynamic role, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of product management activities. You will define how 1Password enables the governance of diverse identities – including human users, non-human identities (NHI), and AI agents – at an enterprise scale. This involves architecting and overseeing integrations that allow for seamless identity management, scaling provisioning and policy enforcement mechanisms to meet the demands of large organizations, and designing robust authentication and authorization architectures. A key aspect of your role will be ensuring clear auditability throughout the entire identity lifecycle, providing enterprises with the transparency and control they need. You will also be instrumental in reducing friction in enterprise Identity Provider (IdP) integrations, aiming for a measurable increase in successful SCIM and Single Sign-On (SSO) deployments within 30-60 days. Furthermore, you will focus on improving the reliability and observability of the identity infrastructure, ensuring faster enterprise rollouts through scalable platform architecture and defining clear activation KPIs tied to identity integration milestones. Your efforts will directly contribute to strong alignment between platform investments and enterprise growth, ensuring that the identity solutions are not only secure but also drive business value.

• • The Director, Product Management, Identity will be responsible for defining the long-term strategy for 1Password’s identity solutions, encompassing humans, AI agents, and machine identities. This includes owning product capabilities across SAML/OIDC authentication, provisioning and deprovisioning processes, just-in-time provisioning, policy management, and role-based access control (RBAC). A critical focus will be ensuring 1Password seamlessly supports complex enterprise identity architectures, such as agentic workflows, human delegation, multi-tenant organizations, multi-agent mappings, and machine workloads. You will also be tasked with enhancing the resiliency, reliability, and observability of identity integrations, establishing platform standards for authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle management. This strategic vision will be translated into actionable product roadmaps, directly impacting the company's ability to serve enterprise clients with sophisticated identity needs.
• • A significant part of this role involves partnering closely with Engineering and Design teams to evolve the underlying identity architecture. This collaboration is essential for supporting scalable onboarding processes, high-volume provisioning (including agent swarms), policy orchestration, and ensuring enterprise-grade reliability. You will drive architectural decisions that strike a crucial balance between providing flexibility for enterprise customization, maintaining simplicity in administrative configuration, and upholding stringent security-first design principles. Your influence will extend to multi-product platform integration across Password Manager and Extended Access Management capabilities, ensuring a cohesive and powerful user experience. Furthermore, you will ensure that onboarding workflows are underpinned by durable backend systems, moving beyond superficial UX improvements to create lasting value and stability for enterprise customers.
• • You will own the product strategy for enterprise policy and governance capabilities, including admin controls, governance frameworks, RBAC, delegated administration, and comprehensive audit logs and compliance reporting. The goal is to empower enterprise customers to confidently operationalize security policies at scale and to support highly regulated industries with identity and access architectures that meet stringent compliance expectations. This involves understanding the unique challenges faced by these sectors and translating them into product requirements that deliver robust security and compliance solutions.
• • This role demands exceptional cross-functional leadership. You will work closely with Platform Engineering (identity infrastructure, authentication services), Security Architecture, Customer Success & Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering (for complex enterprise deployments), and Design (for admin and security experiences). Your ability to influence multi-year roadmap planning for identity and authentication capabilities and drive alignment across these diverse teams on architectural trade-offs and prioritization will be key to success. Ultimately, you will build and lead a high-performing team of Product Managers dedicated to our identity infrastructure, ensuring excellence in integrations, scaling, policy enforcement, authentication/authorization architectures, and auditability.
