- • Lead the product strategy and execution for Flock’s Operations workflows, including Implementation, Delivery, Customer, and Supportability product lanes.
- • Serve as the primary product counterpart to senior Operations leadership, ensuring alignment between business priorities and product roadmaps.
- • Directly manage a team of Product Managers, fostering high performance while maintaining hands-on involvement in product execution and decision-making.
- • Drive end-to-end product vision for internal operational systems, focusing on workflow redesign, automation, and practical adoption of AI to increase scale and efficiency.
- • Partner closely with Engineering, AI/Data Science, and Applications teams to translate operational needs into technical solutions with measurable outcomes.
- • Lead cross-functional planning and tradeoff decisions across multiple product portfolios, ensuring clarity in priorities, ownership, and dependencies.
- • Conduct structured read-ins of existing operational workflows, identifying friction points, system gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- • Define and implement a scalable product engagement model with AI/Data Science teams to streamline intake, prioritization, and execution of automation initiatives.
- • Deliver tangible automation milestones, including end-to-end pilots in at least one jurisdiction, and establish repeatable rollout paths for expansion.
- • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across Operations and adjacent teams to ensure consistent communication, decision support, and alignment.
- • Establish a predictable operating rhythm for cross-functional teams that improves planning quality, communication consistency, and execution velocity.
- • Translate operational priorities into clear, actionable roadmaps in partnership with Engineering, with emphasis on technical feasibility and business impact.
- • Maintain fluency in architecture-level conversations, system/data flow reasoning, and technical tradeoffs to guide product decisions effectively.
- • Evaluate when AI-driven solutions are appropriate versus simpler process or product changes, applying practical judgment to avoid over-engineering.
- • Publish a forward-looking roadmap identifying additional opportunities for operational leverage through automation, AI, and workflow optimization.
- • Ensure Engineering, Product, and Operations teams are aligned on near-term goals, decision ownership, and success criteria for all initiatives.
- • Oversee the design and implementation of streamlined cross-functional operating rhythms that enhance planning quality and reduce ambiguity.
- • Support the expansion of permitting automation beyond pilot jurisdictions by creating scalable, repeatable processes grounded in real-world feedback.
- • Operate as the trusted product lead for Operations leadership, providing predictable, data-informed decision support and strategic insight.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of Product Management experience, including direct management of Product Managers
- • Strong track record owning internal tools, operational systems, or technical platform products
- • Demonstrated success redesigning workflows or automating processes to improve scale, efficiency, or quality
- • Executive stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build trust with senior cross-functional partners
- • Comfort engaging in architecture-level conversations, system/data flow reasoning, and technical tradeoff discussions
- • Practical fluency with modern AI and automation approaches, including judgment on when AI is the right solution versus simpler product or process changes
