- • As Director, Security & Infrastructure at Workleap Inc., you will lead the infrastructure, security operations, and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) functions across Workleap and ShareGate, creating the conditions for product and engineering teams to move faster with confidence.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include improving platform reliability and scalability, reducing security and compliance risk through embedded guardrails, increasing engineering autonomy by reducing dependency on centralized support, enhancing system resilience via observability and incident response, building a high-performing infrastructure and security team, and providing executives with clear, business-relevant visibility into security and risk posture.
- • Workleap is a Montreal-based tech company founded in 2006 with a mission to make work simpler, operating two core product lines: the AI-powered Workleap Platform for HR and employee engagement, and ShareGate, a leading Microsoft 365 migration and governance solution trusted by over 20,000 companies worldwide.
- • In this role, you will learn to transform infrastructure and security from constraints into silent enablers of speed, drive cultural change to make security and infrastructure feel invisible to builder teams, and achieve impact by enabling true self-service, embedding security into delivery workflows, strengthening platform reliability, and shifting governance to continuous automated assurance—positioning your team as a force multiplier for engineering excellence.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of experience across infrastructure and security leadership in technology organizations
- • Experience leading technical teams through transformation in fast-paced, evolving organizations
- • Strong expertise in cloud-native environments such as Azure or GCP
- • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and platform automation
- • Deep understanding of security frameworks, such as SOC 2, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls
- • Proven ability to build secure, scalable, high-availability environments for SaaS products
- • Strong ability to communicate risk, priorities, and tradeoffs to executive and board-level stakeholders
- • CISSP, CISM, or equivalent credentials are considered an asset
- • Based in Montreal, or able to travel there a few times per quarter
