Director / Senior Director of Product Management

📋 Description

• • Lead the vision and execution of Ontic’s Global Security Operation Center (GSOC) platform, driving the strategy and delivery of critical components including Critical Comms and Physical Security Information Management (PSIM).
• • Manage and mentor a team of Product Managers and Design resources while simultaneously contributing directly to the product lifecycle of key GSOC modules.
• • Own end-to-end product roadmaps: conduct market and customer research, define business goals, map capabilities to objectives, build cross-functional consensus, and secure executive approval for product direction.
• • Partner with Sales and Customer Success to guide prospects and existing Fortune 500 and federal agency customers toward successful outcomes through strategic engagement and active listening.
• • Drive go-to-market strategies for new and existing products, coordinating closely with Marketing, Sales, Implementation, Customer Success, and Support teams to ensure successful launches and adoption.
• • Identify and quantify business opportunities to grow Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), build internal alignment, and create actionable plans to capture new revenue streams.
• • Translate complex customer and stakeholder requirements into clear features, user stories, and prioritized backlog items for Engineering teams.
• • Collaborate with Engineering to develop realistic development timelines that align with partner business needs, ensuring timely delivery of product increments.
• • Represent the voice of clients and internal stakeholders throughout the product development process, ensuring user-centric design and functionality.
• • Leverage AI tools to enhance efficiency and quality across all phases of product management, from research to release.
• • Analyze product usage metrics to identify underutilized features and drive adoption through targeted initiatives and user education.
• • Perform business analysis to inform product packaging, licensing models, and pricing structures that maximize value and revenue.
• • Proactively monitor, analyze, and resolve release dependencies, risks, and cross-team bottlenecks to maintain momentum and delivery cadence.
• • Balance strategic long-term product vision with hands-on tactical execution, transitioning seamlessly between executive-level planning and detailed feature discussions.
• • Foster a culture of innovation and accountability by leading without formal authority, driving action through influence, data, and clear communication.

• • Ensure all product decisions and processes adhere to Ontic’s Security and Privacy policies to protect both company and client data.
• • Engage with India-based Engineering and QA teams regularly, managing coordination, expectations, and delivery timelines across time zones.
• • Stay current on industry trends in physical security, threat intelligence, and corporate safety, applying insights to enhance product relevance and competitive positioning.
