📋 Description

• The Director, Solutions Architecture leads a team of solutions architects to empower enterprise customers in unlocking the full potential of WRITER’s generative AI platform, driving AI transformation from theory to measurable impact.
• Day to day, the role involves leading and mentoring a technical team, overseeing pre-sales engagements including use case discovery and proof-of-concept execution, partnering with sales on strategic account plans, acting as an executive technical sponsor for key accounts, influencing product roadmap through customer feedback, and architecting scalable, secure AI solutions integrated with customer data ecosystems.
• WRITER is a $1.9B-valued enterprise generative AI leader founded in 2020, with hubs in San Francisco, New York, Austin, Chicago, and London, uniting IT and business teams through trustworthy AI to unlock enterprise-wide transformation for clients like Mars, Marriott, Uber, and Vanguard.
• In this role, the person can learn to scale a high-performing technical team in a fast-growing AI startup, gain deep exposure to enterprise AI strategy at the executive level, shape product direction through customer insights, and drive measurable business outcomes through innovative AI solution deployment.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, with at least 4 years in a management capacity leading a pre-sales or solutions architecture team focused on enterprise software, cloud, or AI solutions
• Proven expertise in leading and scaling a solutions architecture or sales engineering organization within a high-growth, fast-paced technology company
• Deep technical proficiency in generative AI, large language models (LLMs), machine learning, and cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP), coupled with hands-on experience in Python or similar scripting languages
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex implementations of AI/ML solutions, understanding data pipelines, model deployment, security, and compliance in diverse, large-scale enterprise environments
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of translating intricate technical concepts into clear business value for executive and technical audiences
• A strategic mindset, constantly looking for opportunities to innovate, optimize processes, and drive measurable impact across customer engagements and internal team operations
