- • Lead the strategic vision, design, execution, and ongoing performance management for a diverse portfolio of specialized insurance product solutions, with a keen focus on multicultural segments, innovative offerings, and affordability-focused plans.
- • Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle for specialty, multicultural, and innovative insurance products, ensuring they meet the complex needs of diverse populations and emerging consumer demands.
- • Determine which specialty and multicultural products are launched, expanded, modified, or discontinued based on rigorous performance analysis, deep consumer insights, and dynamic market trends.
- • Proactively identify new opportunities for product development and enhancement, driven by a thorough understanding of member needs, health disparities, utilization patterns, cost drivers, and evolving market landscapes.
- • Define clear product intents, establish strategic investment priorities, and develop comprehensive roadmaps that align with Oscar's overarching enterprise goals for growth, equity, quality, and affordability.
- • Act as a pivotal thought leader, spearheading ideation and the development of clinically informed plan designs tailored to specific populations, chronic conditions, and community-specific needs, thereby creating differentiated and innovative product solutions.
- • Champion innovation initiatives specifically targeting improvements in affordability, access to care, and clinical differentiation, encompassing strategic benefit design, sophisticated cost-sharing models, and precisely constructed plan offerings.
- • Take ownership of the financial and membership performance tracking for the entire product portfolio, including projecting future outcomes, meticulously measuring success against established targets, and making agile, data-driven strategic adjustments.
- • Oversee the strategic development and seamless integration of ancillary benefits and complementary products, ensuring they are harmoniously aligned with core medical offerings and fully compliant with all relevant regulatory requirements.
- • Foster an environment of standardization where feasible across the product suite, while simultaneously enabling necessary market-specific customization to maximize relevance and impact.
- • Establish and uphold stringent quality standards for all product documentation, requirement definitions, and approval processes, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance.
- • Implement and refine an analytics-driven operating model for the product portfolio, collaborating closely with the dedicated analytics team to develop robust segmentation frameworks, insightful dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) such as access, utilization, quality, engagement, cost, and member experience.
- • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable executive-level insights and strategic recommendations that guide decision-making.
- • Ensure the successful execution of multicultural, innovative, specialty, and clinical plan designs through meticulous internal approval processes, regulatory filings, and the preparation of comprehensive supporting documentation.
- • Forge strong partnerships with critical cross-functional teams, including Actuarial, Clinical, Network, Regulatory, and Legal departments, to ensure cohesive alignment on benefit design, pricing strategies, provider network development, affordability objectives, and adherence to all federal and state regulatory mandates.
- • Lead and guide cross-functional teams through the entire product development lifecycle, from initial concept and regulatory submission to implementation readiness and post-launch performance evaluation.
- • Cultivate, lead, and develop high-performing product teams, setting unambiguous expectations, defining clear priorities, and ensuring robust accountability for results.
- • Champion and foster an inclusive, safe, and collaborative team culture that actively values diverse perspectives, encourages thoughtful risk-taking, and stimulates continuous innovation.
