Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Serve as a strategic partner to the CFO and CEO, acting as an extension of executive leadership to drive company-wide priorities and operational rigor in a high-growth, PE-backed vertical SaaS environment.
- • Project-manage end-to-end M&A activities including diligence coordination, workstream tracking, and post-close integration, ensuring seamless alignment between deal teams and cross-functional departments such as Legal, People, Finance, and Product.
- • Maintain centralized tracking of M&A milestones and blockers, proactively surfacing issues and driving resolutions to ensure value capture and integration success.
- • Lead the annual and quarterly strategic planning cadence by structuring analysis, framing strategic choices with the leadership team, and translating decisions into tracked operating plans with clear owners, timelines, and accountability.
- • Track progress against strategic initiatives, flagging misalignments early and facilitating timely conversations to realign priorities and resource allocation.
- • Drive the company’s value-creation roadmap by maintaining a live, visible framework that ensures cross-functional readiness and accountability for long-term enterprise goals.
- • Pressure-test and prioritize proposed and in-flight strategic initiatives, building business cases and analyses—including new-market assessments—to inform executive decision-making on where to allocate company bets.
- • Own cross-functional execution of the company’s most critical initiatives, maintaining a single source of truth for top priorities with clearly defined owners and tracked milestones.
- • Run leadership meetings as decision forums—not status updates—logging decisions and ensuring follow-through through structured accountability mechanisms.
- • Hold the leadership team, including the CFO and CEO, accountable to commitments and timelines, reassessing early when work slips rather than allowing delays to go unaddressed.
- • Build and strengthen operational maturity by establishing reporting discipline, improving KPI reliability, tightening reporting cadence, and catching variance-to-plan earlier.
- • Leverage AI tools proactively to accelerate analysis, enhance decision-making, and increase efficiency across strategic and operational workflows.
- • Act as the connective tissue between functions, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks in complex, ambiguous environments with incomplete information.
- • Communicate with executive-grade clarity in written and verbal formats, producing high-stakes materials and commanding presence in senior-level discussions.
- • Operate with discretion and calm under pressure, managing sensitive financial and strategic information with integrity and confidentiality.
- • Foster a culture of accountability, low ego, and solutions-oriented execution while working alongside empowered functional leaders without owning their teams directly.
- • Support the company’s exit readiness efforts by aligning operational, financial, and strategic systems to meet PE sponsor expectations.
🎯 Requirements
- • Deep experience spanning structured-thinking environments (consulting, banking, corporate development, or strategy) and hands-on operating roles
- • Exceptional program management skills: imposing structure on ambiguity, running multiple parallel workstreams, and keeping senior stakeholders accountable
- • Strong commercial and financial fluency: understanding SaaS metrics, unit economics, and levers of enterprise value; comfortable building business cases
- • M&A or integration experience: involvement in diligence, integration planning, or post-merger integration
- • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with executive-grade presence
- • High discretion with sensitive financial and strategic information; comfort operating with incomplete data
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive base pay + bonus potential
- • 100% company-paid premiums for medical, dental, and vision plans; 50% covered for dependents
- • Immediate access to 401(k) with company match
- • Flexible PTO with minimum of 10 days required annually
- • 12 weeks paid parental leave for birthing parent, 6 weeks for supporting partner
- • Remote work friendly with comprehensive learning and development budget and dedicated manager for career growth
