  • • Lead the development and execution of the product vision and roadmap for all billing and payment systems, including invoicing, subscriptions, taxes, pricing models, payment gateways, and reconciliation.
  • • Direct and mentor a team of Technical Product Managers and Release Train Engineers focused on billing and payments, supervising four employees including Senior and Principal-level roles.
  • • Drive strategic initiatives such as payment gateway expansion, dealer payment transformation, and overall payment flow optimization to enhance system efficiency and customer experience.
  • • Partner closely with IT, Finance, and Compliance teams to ensure delivery of scalable, secure, and resilient billing systems aligned with enterprise business objectives.
  • • Collaborate with finance and compliance stakeholders to guarantee billing accuracy, tax compliance (e.g., VAT/GST), audit readiness, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • • Serve as the internal subject matter expert and evangelist for all billing and payments initiatives, translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • • Drive continuous innovation in payment technology by exploring emerging trends such as digital wallets, instant payments, and AI-driven reconciliation.
  • • Establish and enforce Agile delivery best practices, including sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and cross-functional alignment across IT, Finance, and Compliance teams.
  • • Translate business requirements into well-defined product epics, features, and user stories, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
  • • Design and implement monitoring and alerting frameworks for payment operations to proactively detect, diagnose, and resolve system anomalies.
  • • Collaborate with solution architects and engineering teams to define system architecture, data flows, and integration frameworks supporting high transaction volumes and complex pricing logic.
  • • Lead technology modernization efforts including adoption of microservices-based billing architecture, cloud-native scalability, and API-first payment integration, particularly within Mulesoft-based systems.
  • • Apply principles of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to plan, execute, and deliver complex enterprise financial and digital systems.
  • • Define and track key metrics and KPIs for billing accuracy, payment success rates, refund handling, and reconciliation cycle times to drive continuous improvement.
  • • Utilize deep understanding of regulatory frameworks including PCI-DSS and SOX to ensure compliance across all billing and payment systems.
  • • Oversee product strategy by aligning business goals with technical execution, leading architecture and software development teams to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant digital systems.
  • • Serve as the primary bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and shared ownership of product outcomes.
  • • Lead digital and billing platforms end-to-end, from strategic planning through technical implementation and operational support.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electronic Engineering (or foreign equivalent)
  • • Five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience leading digital and billing platforms
  • • Demonstrated technical acumen to drive software architecture-level decisions and define feature/user story definitions in collaboration with IT and Finance teams
  • • Experience applying Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to deliver complex enterprise financial and digital systems
  • • In-depth understanding of regulatory frameworks including PCI-DSS and SOX
  • • Proven experience collaborating with IT, Billing, Finance, and Compliance teams to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant system delivery
