- • Lead finance and operations value creation initiatives by assessing clients’ people, processes, and technology to develop quantitative and qualitative recommendations and value-creation roadmaps
- • Design and execute implementation plans to drive cash flow and cost optimization across Contract-to-Cash, Procure-to-Payment, and Forecast-to-Fulfillment processes
- • Design and implement future-state operating models including organization structure, operating procedures, and technology enablement (ERP, bespoke systems, third-party applications)
- • Establish and drive transformation program governance to support multi-workstream engagements for private equity-backed portfolio companies
- • Measure and track KPIs and initiative ROI to ensure targeted benefit realization and sustained financial improvements
- • Provide practical solutions and leading practices to enable and sustain transformation outcomes in finance and operational functions
- • Manage workstreams and programs under the guidance of Managing Directors and Senior Directors, while supervising junior team members including Vice Presidents, Associates, and Analysts
- • Interact directly with C-level executives at portfolio companies and representatives from private equity sponsors to align transformation efforts with strategic objectives
- • Assist in business development by identifying opportunities and coordinating cross-practice proposals to grow client engagements
- • Take a lead role in internal firm initiatives to enhance client service capabilities and improve internal operational effectiveness
- • Travel to client sites as required to support on-site transformation initiatives
- • Serve as a mentor and leader to junior team members, fostering professional growth and a collaborative team culture
- • Maintain deep knowledge of finance function professionalization, including best practices in FP&A, record-to-report, and other CFO-purview areas
- • Balance hands-on execution of project details with strategic oversight of complex, multi-faceted transformation programs
- • Contribute to a growing, entrepreneurial firm by embracing fluid organizational dynamics and driving future growth opportunities
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 10+ years of relevant professional experience in a client-serving role at a top-tier consulting firm or senior-level experience combining client service and private industry
- • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus
- • Proven experience managing multi-sector engagements and coordinating internal teams while navigating client and sponsor dynamics
- • Deep knowledge of business process transformation in Contract-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, and FP&A functions
- • Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing strategies, processes, and technologies that optimize cash flow, increase effectiveness, and improve enterprise value
- • Current knowledge of leading practices in the professionalization of the finance function
