  • • As the Payroll Lead for Singapore, you will be the pivotal figure responsible for the end-to-end management of the country's payroll operations, ensuring absolute accuracy, timeliness, and strict adherence to all local government regulations and statutory requirements.
  • • This senior individual contributor role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving, risk management, and the exercise of sound judgment in resolving complex payroll issues, with a keen awareness of the need for discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • • You will be instrumental in shaping and elevating global payroll practices by contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and ways of working within the industry, embodying Remote's commitment to innovation.
  • • Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring compliance with all corporate policies, country-specific regulations, and legal mandates, maintaining the integrity and reliability of our payroll systems.
  • • You will serve as the primary point of contact for all payroll-related matters, liaising effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders, including third-party payroll service providers, accounting partners, and government agencies.
  • • A key responsibility will be to stay abreast of evolving international payroll laws, regulations, tax implications, and benefit structures, ensuring that Remote's payroll practices remain compliant and competitive.

  • • A passion for making a tangible impact and a drive to continuously improve and optimize workflows are highly valued, aligning with Remote's culture of productivity and innovation.
  • • You will be empowered to take ownership of your work, acting proactively and defaulting to action rather than waiting for direction, reflecting our asynchronous work culture.

  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of global payroll innovation, working with a diverse, globally distributed team committed to building a best-in-class HR platform.
  • • You will be encouraged to prioritize your work-life balance, fitting work around your personal needs and family commitments, in line with Remote's supportive culture.
  • • You will report to the Associate Manager, Payroll Operations, and be an integral part of the Global Payroll team, based in Singapore.
