  • • The Director, US Patient Assistance Program (PAP) at argenx will lead the strategy, design, and execution of the company’s PAP across current and future indications, ensuring patients facing financial barriers can access therapy through a compliant, scalable, and patient-centered support model.
  • • Day to day, the role involves owning end-to-end PAP operations including intake, eligibility determination, case management, and product fulfillment; overseeing vendor performance (hub, specialty pharmacy, third parties); establishing SOPs and quality controls; managing escalations; and monitoring operational metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • • The role partners closely with Head of Patient Experience COE, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Market Access, Medical, Commercial, and Patient Services teams to ensure program integrity, alignment, and integration within the broader patient support ecosystem.
  • • The person in this role will shape future-state program design, support launch readiness for new indications, optimize patient journeys using data and insights, and build a scalable foundation for portfolio growth while maintaining audit readiness and championing a strong compliance mindset.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MHA, PharmD, or similar) preferred
  • • 10+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare operations, or related experience
  • • Experience leading patient support, hub, call center, or program operations teams
  • • Deep knowledge of patient assistance programs, benefits verification, and specialty pharmacy processes
  • • Experience managing third-party vendors and driving SLA performance
  • • Strong understanding of compliance requirements, HIPAA, and patient privacy regulations
