  • • As a Distinguished Solution Engineer for Key Accounts, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing Okta's go-to-market strategy for our most significant enterprise clients across the Central U.S. This pivotal role demands a blend of deep technical acumen, strategic foresight, and exceptional business partnership to accelerate the sales cycle and drive repeatable success within large, complex organizations.
  • • You will serve as a trusted technical advisor to Okta’s Account Management and Go-To-Market (GTM) leadership, providing critical insights and strategic direction to optimize sales pursuits. Your primary focus will be on identifying and capitalizing on strategic growth opportunities, ensuring that Okta's identity solutions are deeply integrated into the business objectives of our key accounts.
  • • A core responsibility will be to lead the pursuit strategy for large, multi-stakeholder deals. This involves orchestrating complex sales cycles, understanding diverse stakeholder needs, and crafting compelling value propositions that resonate with executive leadership across technical and business functions.
  • • You will be at the forefront of driving strategic initiatives, including the adoption of AI within sales motions and the development of robust partner strategies. This requires a forward-thinking approach to leverage emerging technologies and build strong alliances to enhance Okta's market position.
  • • A significant aspect of this role involves building and operationalizing repeatable sales motions and AI-enabled sales plays. You will develop frameworks, methodologies, and best practices that can be scaled across the sales organization, leading to increased consistency, predictability, and win rates.
  • • You will collaborate closely with Key Account Directors, GTM Leadership, corporate strategy teams, and product stakeholders to ensure alignment between market needs and Okta's product roadmap.   • • Your role will extend to enabling the field by partnering with Enablement and Sales Operations teams to institutionalize pursuit excellence. You will facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices across regional teams, specialists, and executive sponsors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and strategic account coverage.
  • • You will act as a thought leader, engaging with industry and partner ecosystems to champion Okta's leadership in identity sales. This includes representing Okta at industry events, customer summits, and strategic planning forums, solidifying our reputation as a market leader.
  • • A key objective is to foster executive-level technical relationships within Okta’s Key Accounts. By building trust and demonstrating deep understanding of their challenges, you will position Okta as an indispensable partner for their digital transformation journeys.
  • • You will partner with the Office of the Field CTO to refine Okta’s positioning around AI and next-generation identity solutions, ensuring our narrative is compelling and aligned with future market trends. This involves translating complex technical concepts into clear business benefits.
  • • You will lead initiatives aimed at enhancing Okta’s competitive differentiation and accelerating long-term growth. This requires a proactive approach to identifying market shifts and developing strategies to maintain our leadership position.
