  • • As a Distributed Cloud Sales Specialist at F5 Inc., you will be at the forefront of driving adoption for our innovative Distributed Cloud and Managed Services platform. This is a pivotal role focused on new business development, requiring an entrepreneurial spirit and a deep understanding of enterprise cloud strategies.
  • • You will be instrumental in helping organizations navigate their digital transformation journeys, particularly as they migrate existing applications and build new ones leveraging microservices architectures. Your expertise will guide customers in adopting SaaS as their primary software consumption model, ensuring they maximize the benefits of cloud technologies.
  • • This is a specialist overlay role, distinct from traditional account management. Your focus will be on designing and implementing non-linear sales scaling models, thinking strategically about future growth and market penetration.
  • • You will collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams, including customer success, product management, marketing, and channel partners, to orchestrate comprehensive growth initiatives that extend beyond the quarterly business cycle.
  • • A key aspect of your role will be driving deal execution, encompassing both new business acquisition and expansion opportunities, to build and maintain strong momentum within the Distributed Cloud business.
  • • You will be accountable for achieving sales targets for F5 Distributed Cloud across the EMEA region, contributing directly to the company's strategic objectives.
  • • Your primary focus will be on F5’s Distributed Cloud and managed services platform, leveraging the full spectrum of F5’s technological offerings. You will engage with customers on their most cutting-edge technology projects, including multi-cloud adoption, Kubernetes deployments, edge computing, IoT initiatives, and more.
  • • You will partner closely with regional F5 sales teams to cultivate understanding, build awareness, generate demand, and develop a robust pipeline for F5 Distributed Cloud within targeted enterprise accounts.
  • • A significant part of your role involves building and nurturing net-new customer relationships, with a keen eye on identifying innovative use cases and strategic growth opportunities that align with F5’s cloud strategy.
  • • You will establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key ecosystem partners, such as hyperscalers and cloud solution architects, to foster joint lead generation and co-selling opportunities.
  • • Developing and nurturing long-term strategic relationships with priority accounts across assigned regions or specific industry verticals will be crucial for sustained success.
  • • You will work hand-in-hand with F5 channel teams and partners to amplify market reach, accelerate customer adoption, and ensure a seamless partner experience.
  • • Articulating compelling and differentiated value propositions for F5 Distributed Cloud and Managed Services, directly linking them to tangible customer business outcomes and strategic objectives, will be a core responsibility.
  • • You will be adept at identifying, qualifying, and progressing both short-term and long-term sales opportunities, while also proactively anticipating and addressing competitive threats to secure F5’s market position.
  • • Driving programmatic business development initiatives, in close collaboration with marketing and other cross-functional teams, will be essential for scaling our cloud business effectively.
  • • You will own the end-to-end sales execution process, meticulously managing forecasting, pipeline hygiene, quoting, and commercial negotiations to consistently meet or exceed your sales targets.
  • • Acting as the voice of the customer and partner within F5, you will provide invaluable, actionable feedback to internal teams and share best practices across the virtual team to continuously improve our offerings and go-to-market strategies.
  • • This role demands a proactive, results-oriented individual who can thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, contributing to F5's mission of bringing a better digital world to life.
