- • Serve as a clinical expert contributing to AI research projects designed to improve healthcare-focused artificial intelligence systems used by leading AI labs and companies.
- • Review, label, and curate clinical data including electronic health records, physician notes, audio recordings, and medical images according to detailed annotation guidelines.
- • Conduct structured human-in-the-loop evaluations of AI models and large language models (LLMs) to assess clinical accuracy, safety, relevance, and reasoning fidelity.
- • Design, test, and iterate on clinical prompts and instruction sets to enhance model performance, reliability, and alignment with real-world medical decision-making.
- • Create high-quality training data by generating precise instructions and responses, with particular attention to edge cases and rare clinical scenarios.
- • Identify and document model failures, errors, and edge-case vulnerabilities, then propose evidence-based strategies to mitigate risks and improve model robustness.
- • Develop and refine clinical scoring rubrics and quality assurance frameworks that measure accuracy, clarity, completeness, guideline adherence, and patient safety.
- • Collaborate with AI researchers and other clinicians to improve annotation standards, acceptance criteria, and evaluation protocols for healthcare AI systems.
- • Participate in project-specific tasks such as summarizing medical records, annotating clinical relationships, and validating AI-generated clinical reasoning outputs.
- • Work independently in a fully remote, asynchronous environment with no fixed hours, allowing flexibility to align with existing clinical practice, academic duties, or personal commitments.

- • Provide critical feedback that refines the design, functionality, and safety of AI systems used in clinical settings, ensuring they meet real-world standards of care.
- • Maintain strict adherence to clinical accuracy, patient confidentiality, and ethical guidelines in all data handling and model evaluation tasks.
- • Remain actively licensed and in good standing as a physician in the United States throughout engagement with the platform.
- • Work with a global network of clinicians and AI teams to co-develop solutions that bridge the gap between medical practice and artificial intelligence innovation.
