📋 Description

• This is a standing invitation for exceptional individuals to define their own role at Douro Labs, a core contributor to the Pyth Network, where your application becomes your job description and your initiative shapes the future of decentralized finance infrastructure.
• You will operate at the intersection of high-frequency data, decentralized systems, and open finance, contributing to trustworthy, low-latency market data as a public good across 50+ blockchains, with real ownership and impact from day one.
• The team is remote-first with roots in Porto, composed of experts who have shipped at Jump, Bloomberg, and leading crypto protocols, working globally across timezones to advance the DeFi stack through precision and innovation.
• Your day-to-day will involve identifying gaps in the ecosystem, proposing and executing solutions such as growth engines, technical integrations, research verticals, or ecosystem programs, all driven by your conviction and high-agency mindset.
• You will engage deeply with oracle technology and data infrastructure as the foundational trust layer of DeFi, collaborating with protocol developers, integrators, and stakeholders to ensure reliability and adoption.
• You are expected to ship tangible outcomes — whether open-source contributions, published research, built communities, or shipped products — demonstrating execution beyond ideation in a fast-moving, technically demanding environment.
• You will navigate global collaboration naturally, communicating across timezones and cultures while aligning with a mission-driven culture that values precision, ownership, and intellectual honesty.

🎯 Requirements

• Genuine conviction and hands-on experience with Web3, including building, researching, contributing to, or analyzing decentralized systems and protocols.
• Deep understanding or strong readiness to go deep on why data infrastructure and oracles are foundational to decentralized finance and trust minimization.
• Proven track record of execution: shipped products, open-source contributions, published research, or communities built from scratch that demonstrate initiative and impact.
• High-agency mindset: ability to identify problems, take ownership, mobilize others, and drive outcomes without waiting for direction.
• Comfort operating in a global, remote-first environment, collaborating effectively across major timezones and cultural contexts.
• Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical ideas, defend opinions in protocol debates, and build compelling cases for new initiatives.
