- • As a Dowty Field Service Representative, you will provide direction and assistance to work groups to meet assigned objectives.
- • This role involves supporting the R391 (C130) Composite Propeller System and related components at a customer site, with the possibility of travel up to 60% of the time.
- • You will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.

- • Provide general technical direction and assistance to the customer in the operation, maintenance, repair, logistic support, and installation of GE products.
- • Provide on-site interpretation of data and technical instruction.
- • Communicate with Project Engineering, Program Management, and Field Service management regarding status of programs, customer problems, failures, trends, and climate.
- • Prepare and submit regular, timely reports to Product Support and Field Service regarding all program activities and problems.
- • Assist the customer in scheduling maintenance and workload.
- • Ensure parts meet established schedules and make recommendations based on findings.
- • Review effectiveness of maintenance actions to identify training needs.
- • Perform intermediate and depot level maintenance, including hands-on repair and maintenance of Composite Propeller System and related components.
- • Collaborate with the UK services team for civil customer support.
- • Work in a controlled environment with exposure to various materials.
- • Associate’s Degree or High School diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution.
- • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university OR; a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of Aviation experience in a Field Service or Maintenance position.
- • Able to lift a minimum of 65 lbs.
- • Minimum of 2 years performing extensive repairs and conversions as well as maintenance and repair work on engine and/or propeller maintenance.
- • Must be able to pass a non-DOT drug test and a background check.
- • 3-4 months training at the Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas before final assignment in Youngstown, OH.
- • Ability to travel up to 60% worldwide.
- • Able to lift up to 65 pounds comfortably.

- • Ability to interface at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally.

- • Associate’s Degree or High School diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution.
- • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university OR; a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of Aviation experience in a Field Service or Maintenance position.
- • Minimum of 2 years performing extensive repairs and conversions as well as maintenance and repair work on engine and/or propeller maintenance.
