- • Serve as the primary safeguard for delivery service provider (DSP) operations by ensuring full legal and contractual compliance across all partner relationships in Rohlik’s European e-grocery logistics network.
- • Conduct regular audits focused on labor law compliance and internal standards to maintain integrity in DSP partnerships across Germany, Austria, and other Central European markets.
- • Design, implement, and monitor risk assessment tools for vendor vetting, enabling proactive identification and mitigation of compliance and operational risks.
- • Enforce pragmatic, scalable risk mitigation strategies that align with business growth while maintaining regulatory adherence and contractual obligations.
- • Manage escalation tickets related to DSP performance issues and enforce contractual penalties, including initiating offboarding procedures for non-performing partners.
- • Collaborate with the Legal department to standardize DSP contracts, ensuring alignment with European labor regulations and company policies.
- • Act as the key liaison between DSPs, Customer Care, and Account Management teams to resolve operational conflicts and align on compliance expectations.
- • Develop and maintain documentation for compliance processes, audit findings, and risk mitigation actions to support internal governance and external reporting.
- • Monitor evolving regulatory frameworks in European labor law and adapt compliance protocols accordingly to protect the company from legal exposure.
- • Translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into actionable operational guidelines for internal teams and external DSP partners.
- • Participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve DSP onboarding, performance tracking, and risk management workflows.
- • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices in vendor risk management and logistics compliance within the e-grocery sector.
- • Travel within Germany and Austria to conduct on-site audits of DSP operations, ensuring firsthand verification of compliance and operational standards.
- • Leverage data-driven insights to identify patterns in DSP non-compliance and recommend systemic improvements to reduce recurring risks.
- • Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement by treating compliance violations as opportunities for learning and process enhancement.
- • Support the scaling of DSP networks by ensuring compliance infrastructure grows in parallel with business expansion across new regions.
- • Maintain strict confidentiality and data protection standards when handling sensitive DSP and employee information.
- • Contribute to the development of training materials and guidelines for internal teams and DSP partners on compliance expectations and contractual obligations.
- • Report directly on compliance metrics, audit outcomes, and risk exposure to senior leadership and legal stakeholders on a regular basis.
- • Ensure all DSP-related activities adhere to GDPR and other applicable data privacy regulations in the European Union.
- • Work within a flat hierarchy and Du-Kultur environment where initiative, transparency, and collaborative problem-solving are valued.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–5+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, auditing, or logistics
- • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field
- • Solid knowledge of European labor law and regulatory frameworks
- • Fluent in both German and English
- • Valid Class B driver’s license for audit-related travel
- • Experience conducting third-party audits and enforcing contractual penalties
