- • As a Duala Interpreter at LanguageLine Solutions, you will provide essential language services that break down communication barriers for limited-English speakers and the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing across critical sectors including healthcare, emergency services, government, and business.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include responding promptly to interpreting sessions, rendering accurate meaning between Duala and English speakers, maintaining professionalism during high-stress calls (such as 911 or medical emergencies), and adhering to strict interpretation protocols while demonstrating cultural sensitivity.

🎯 Requirements
- • Fluency in Duala and English with strong cultural competency
- • Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills for accurate interpretation
- • Ability to remain calm, neutral, and professional during emotionally charged or high-stress calls
- • High school diploma or equivalent
- • Legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- • Access to a dedicated device (Windows, MacOS, ChromeOS, iPadOS, Android) and high-speed internet (5 Mbps download, 3 Mbps upload)
